Except Yoonji and Waackxxy lost to the Twins. It’s okay to be interested in other dancers or styles, but the Twins are the best for a reason 😆

I can literally see my old self in you Worshipping beatkilling, thinking the twins is all there is to dance, that they're gods and the pinacle.. Until one day I woke up and realised "But they're not!" Like look. Les twins are cool, they're tight at what they do, BUT they aint all that. They arent as crazy or as great as yall hype them up to be, or as you may consider them to be. There are so many other dancers that I've seen ever since not fanboying over les twins that now, I simply CANT say les twins are all that, as I've already seen much better. I've seen dance in its purest form, in essence, I've seen the dance that I fell in love with, the dance that got me INTO this whole artform in the first place. At that point, les twins just became for what they really are for me, a half empty shell. One half filled, but only in the sense of beatkilling, the other nonexistent. And before anyone tries, cause I know someone will, no, Im not a style purist or a hip hop purist, Im just a dancer/dance fan with common sense and knowledge/understanding of it to some degree. All thanks to a decade and a half of being in this journey of following it since childhood.

@Preciousnunique I agree with everything you said, and Im also like you in the sense that I went from being a les twins fanboy, and dickriding them the same way all the sheep in the comment section do nowadays, but I managed to break away, and explore dance, to see that there was more amazing shit out there other than les twins, or the beatkilling scene in France And for when les twin fanboy and fangirl dickriders show up, dont mind them. They always jump at you and attack you with some bs excuses as soon as they see that you not worshipping and sucking the twins off obediently like the rest of them are.

You said all that just to expose your warped psychology and perspective on dance-in short, you’re projecting your insecurities about what you think should be defined as dance onto me just because very forceful and seemingly authoritative sources with HD cameras on the internet such as Metals Palace (with less than 7,000 subscribers) told you so. I’m not hating on Metals or you because I believe that people have the right to disagree without calling each other “sad.” You are simply weak in your convictions and probably feel guilty for supporting the winning team. That’s why you and many others I have seen on KZfaq are proclaiming that the Asian wacking-girls “stole the show” or were “the highlight of the event.” You have others saying “OMG Junior is dangerous!” Right… except they lost! And the Twins won the event as I knew they would because they are the _best._ And this is not even up for debate when they *consistently* show up to battle scenes both big and small and they dominate time and time again. And the judges at this event including Omarion know dance and are more involved in the dance scene than you, me, or Metals Palace. You still receive outstanding respect and lasting recognition for being #2 or #3, but the results speak for themselves. Les Twins are Michael Jordan in his prime and everyone else is Kobe, Chamberlain, Shaq, Bird, Lebraun, Curry, etc.

Well said. That's the direction I've always wanted the dance scene to go into. Many style purists might disapprove but that's exactly why they always get smoked when battling against dancers who refuse to confine themselves in a box.

@@blacklion2432 i totally agree that's why i dont limit myself in formats anymore and just incorporate from other stylez. Since I did my dance grew in depth and possibilities. Remember even HIP HOP or HOUSE got to take their basic steps from vintage american dances, and africans to start off. I don't understand why I Should limit my creativity and possibilities to restricted steps and moves. French and Europeans understood that for so long. That's the reason why they are so advanced compared to some purist american dancers or asian too framed in the same old school fondation while bein scared to dare to create and push themselves. dont get it twisted i am an advicated of mastering the foundations before steppin into that.

I'm happy you said this. I train a couple different combat sports and I love watching street battles. I'm not a trained dancer but I've been known to move well to music, I believe dancing and martial arts are one in the same.
