I think at the end of the day, Indian brands REALLLYYYY need to up their shade range. I mean we could be forgiving of BB creams having 5 shades( if they're dark enough) but most completion products as well

Yes exactly . I mean I don't understand how brands can formulate one shade if bb cream and write suitable for Indian Skintones. That's just crap. Nykaa has 5 shades but that BB creams looks so gross on the skin. It's like straight up putting on paint🤢

Garnier has one shade because they know Indians will not buy the dark shades. We know how racist our country is. So are the cosmetic companies

*Garnier BB Cream* is hands down the bestttttttt❤️! I've been using since 7 years now, since it 1st launched in India. *GARNIER* , plzzzz never discontinue this marvelous product 🙏🏻 Though they've changed the color & formula a bit

With the shade thing, even for fair skin the under-tones of the shades available are wrong totally , yes some do find correct shades but most people even with fair skin don’t ,either they are too yellow based or too pink . Somehow the fair skin people still manage.But overall i literally hate the obsession with fair skin, second why don’t we have diverse shades when we have Literally so many skin tones ! 😡! 😠!

I feel like they changed the formula of garnier bb cream i have an old tube and a new one when i compared the two the new one looked very ashy white on my skin but the old one has a perfect warm undertone to it. Also the old one is a small packaging idk why this happened but my face looked ashy white after applying it so i compared the two 😟

You're not alone. Years ago Garnier bb cream used to be a medium shade with yellow undertone but now it's a light medium shade with peachy undertone. They changed the manufacturing from China to India & that's when the shade change happened imo.

Swiss beauty is not at all an Indian brand.. it's instead a Chinese brand... so..basically... Chinese people have skin tones fairer to the Indians...and that's why even their darkest shade is having that white effect...Hope you understand!!

Arnakshi Patgiri thank you saying this! I thought I was the only one who hated their BB cream, it was soooooo patchy for me as well and oily too as the day goes on. I have decided to forgo all Nykaa products because their quality has always disappointed me, be it their liquid lipsticks or their ultra matte lipsticks. They just seem to separate and dry out within month or two after opening it.

Arnakshi Patgiri for me the only winner is their Mattelicious lip crayons. Wish they would upgrade their quality being an Indian brand I would love to support them. But sadly, they seem to quite content with fake/paid reviews of their products.

Hello. I use a Canon 550d or my phone. And yes I use a ring light. I got it from an Instagram store way back. But just the Amazon one works great too I guess💕
