I had an adjustable length Phillips trimmer prior to this, but had issues with it while trimming because the set length would change sometimes if you put little force while trimming sometimes causing to have patches. I decided on this one because it has a lock feature to prevent set length adjustment from slipping which is the case with 90% of adjustable length trimmers.

Hey Neeraj, both have different traits man. If you need more style settings you can go for Power Styler, as it has 38 length options with a dial. On the other hand Power Play Nxt has 6 length options with combs, but is definitely a great trimmer (and cheaper)

It's not advised to use it while charging. You won't even need to do that at all. It's got a huge battery backup.

Hey Sohini... honestly I haven't used either Gillette Fusion Proglide or the Philips BT1232/18, so can only compare these two with the BSC Power Styler in theory. Nahi bro, clean shave nahi karega ye. Close trim de sakta hai, but razor wala clean look nahi aega. In fact poora clean shave look koi bhi trimmer nahi de sakta kyuki har trimmer sirf surface ke upar se baal kat-ta hai
