Thank you, Nicole for such wonderful content all the time! As a 75 year old, I struggle with accepting my changed appearance and learning how to best work with what I have. I have a ways to go for better makeup choices and application, especially the eyes, but you give me inspiration to try and I’m grateful to you. I had my colors done in the 80’s and have followed my palette ever since. That alone enhances my appearance far more than anything else. It has saved me a tremendous amount of time, money and closet space over the years. I always have my pallet with me when shopping. Your appearance, while always lovely, is much improved when you wear/apply your summer colors - you are simply stunning in them! One of the most helpful things I learned from my Color Me Beautiful analyst was to always use the palette when the enhancement of my own appeal and attractiveness is the goal, but if the goal is for others to focus on my clothing, wear a different palette because my face and skin will then not draw the attention. It’s true! We can notice in ads for clothing, very often the model is not wearing her colors and our focus stays on the clothes. If the advertisement is for makeup, quite often the model is wearing her own colors. Fun to pay attention to as we learn about color.

You have given me a new interest in myself! For the past few years all of my attention has been on my grands and I didn’t feel the need or desire to put on makeup daily. My skincare routine was minimal. Watching your tutorials, hearing your encouraging thoughts, and buying some of your wonderful makeup has made me realize I am still worth the effort to look better-which makes me feel better! I turned 38 this year. I know I'm not your target audience, but I plan to age gracefully. I appreciate all your work!! My husband ordered your rose lip balm for me... love it! I have used Kevin Murphy hair care for 10 plus years. The heat protector is great when i have to blowdry in winter months, and they all smell great. The shimmer me blonde is also a favorite. Este Lauder Day Wear and Night Wear bundles have also been in my beauty bag for over a decade. They dont break the bank either! I did try Rescue by Osmosis MD and really loved it. It's more pricey, but I splurge once in a while. Routine Facials have also helped give my skin a step up. I love my esthetician!

100% agree with you that frownies work. The results are not permanent, but Botox does not give permanent results either...

I agree. Some people are afraid to use Botox. I like it. I used to have terrible frown lines and Botox fixed that. However, they recommend it every 3 months but I only need it twice a year.

I used to use frownies until I read about a suggestion from a lady who used surgical tape instead. Yes that’s right…a simple roll of surgical tape that tears off easily and does a great job on the “11’s”frown lines which have greatly diminished.

I just found you this year, and I have learned so much. I have been struggling with the changes in my skin the past couple of years (I will be 67 in a couple of weeks). My entire face has a more soft-edged look; a less well-defined jaw line. My brow line has gotten a bit droopy. I have a few small splotches of pigmentation, and a few moles teying establish dominance over my facial features. My formerly invisible pores are large and noticeable. In short, I have felt overwhelmed with what to do with my face, and you have given me some great encouragement, and great ideas. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I love my Kindle. I just received your lipstick, lip liner and primer. I love your products and I can't wait for the BB cream to come out. I'm still looking for a foundation that doesn't separate or looks like it is melting. I have several brands of foundation, from drug store to high end and I can't say I'm in love with any of them. I love your concealer. It smooths and blends into the skin so nicely. As for skin, I've been using the Omnilux mas and the Nira mask 5 nights a week, and the Nuface contour three mornings a week. I have added Rx Tretinoin and I'm seeing very nice results. Oh, I almost forgot: sunscreen daily, even during the winter months! Also, I like the LED manicure. I haven't tried the one you mentioned, but I use Le Mini Macaron at home and I'm pretty satisfied with the results :)

The last few months I have used a mineral powder in solid form from La Roche Posay. Before, I only used a blush. And a firm powder is nice and easy to brush on, it can get all the way up under the eyes and does not sit in the wrinkles and where at all. My top find of 2023 has been, Natasha Denona’s Hy-Glam concealer. It wears beautifully on my 55 year old skin.

for my morning moisturizer I use Clarins Multi-Active Jour ($59 lasts 6 months) then I use Bobbi Brown Face Base (love this primer and its orange scent). After cleansing in evening I use Paula's Choice Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment cream...love it. A little goes a long way.

Thank you so much, Nikol. You are such an encouragement to me. Please tell us, what cuticle conditioner do you recommend? When the seasons change and the atmosphere becomes dry, my cuticles crack and become painful. I've tried many products, but I haven't found one that really works. I discovered you this year. Slowly and surely, I started to pay attention to taking care of my skin. Seeing how you applied makeup was a game changer for me. I have been using biotin for hair growth for the past several years and it has given me astonishing results. I lost all my hair and most of my brows and lashes during chemotherapy treatments in 2021 but you would never know it now. My hair has fully grown out and new hair keeps coming in. It’s amazing and it’s cheap.

I love mine for several years. I also can read on my Amazon Fire Tablet. Great for traveling. Some people like the tactile part of turning pages of a book. The Thrift stores get so many donated books they go on sale for a quarter.

The Budget Dermatologist on KZfaq recommends Frownies! I see clear results from them as long as I use them consistently too! One of my all-time faves that nobody ever mentions is Jergens Natural Glow Body lotion. I use it every couple of days - just swap out with my regular moisturizer- and it keeps your skin tone looking more even! It’s also extremely inexpensive. Win-win

I have tried the semi cured gel nails! I absolutely love them. However, I love love love the Ohora brand on Amazon! I did try the dashing diva brand and yuk! Dashing diva is not nearly as “easy to mold” and fit (and last) on your nails as Ohora and the Adora Couture brand! Amazon has buy more save more. Then, I am able to create a whole new manicure with the nail gels I didn’t use from multiple packages because they don’t dry out! So fun!!

I have and I discovered it two years ago. I went to purchase a lipstick and the lady taking care of my order had beautiful skin and I asked her. She was using Emma Hardie products and of course, I purchased them. You will not be disappointed. Nutrafol has been such a hairsaver for me plus my dermatologist had a prescription made for me to put on my scalp every night. I am able to see a difference. I hope one day to have hair like you.

I'm not Nikon and I'm sure she will respond. I hate the look of clutter on the counter as well. What worked for me are baskets with handles. I have 3 baskets, morning, night and speciality. I take out the morning daily and use items and do the same at night. Most days I take out both because some products I use for both day and night. After using I put all back in the cabinet, clean counters and I know where everything is at!

You have beautiful hair and skin. I'd like to see products for older mature skin and hair. I'm 73 now and used to have natural red hair (carrot top) and freckles with more of a sallow skin tone and hazel green eyes. I'm at a loss about my hair and skin. HELP?

Hi from Ireland. I agree derms dismiss too quickly everything except tret and Botox...which is absolutely dreadful as there are so many fabulous alternatives for those of us who don't want to go down the Botox route. Your hair is class! But your skin is epic too. Kay x

Love you and your videos so much! Altho, its becoming fairly costly, LOL ( The Baccarat Rouge 450 in particular) BUT worth it, IMO. I'm going to try the Nutrafol on your recommendation; i tried another ( Hair la Vie) this year, but even if i had a decent breakfast, it nauseated me. Not interested in that at all. So Ill try Nutrafol and report back! I will also try the Dashing Diva glaze. I got so tired of spending so much time going to the nail salon having acrylics applied, refilled every 2 weeks, and then, eventually, going thru the discomfort of having them removed, which eventually made my own nails paper thin....i started using Kiss glue ons, which i really like, but am a little concerned about if water gets under a corner and a fungus starting. Haven't had any problem yet, but... and they do pop off occasionally, but so simple to glue back on. And they look GREAT. AND when you do a whole new set, it takes about 10 minutes from start to finish! Will be ordering your BB cream! Happy, healthy New Year to you and all those you hold dear!
