Hot in Cleveland revolves around three fabulous L.A. women of a certain age who are best friends( Valerie Bertinelli , Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick.) You could see how the cast was trying so hard not to lose it and Betty just rolls with it like it was nothing. The only reason the cast cracked was because Betty cracked. It's those subtle moments of comedy gold that we will miss the most.

Looking at her face throughout all these scenes shows me how good a performer she was, what a sense of humor she had, and her ability to think on her feet….some of the best lines are her ad libs. Watching her face when she breaks up is contagious laughter at its best, and funniest. I’m delighted to see her enjoying herself, and glad she had a long run on the planet, even if we wanted more. Meeting her at a book event in 1988 will always be a personal highlight for me.

I've watched this more than 10 times and it is still funny to tears. The scene and Betty's laugh at 5:28 gets me every time. If there's ever a time I want to laugh, this video does it. hahaha. what a beautiful woman, she is missed by us all.

I've worked with Betty White twice - once on the Golden Girls and then on the first episode of Hot in Cleveland. What you see is what you get, the same in person... smart, and very, very funny. And the the rest of the cast of HIC was wonderful as well.

It's a part of Hollywood and has been around for years and years now. Nobody is perfect and they're just having fun 🙄 and clearly you know nothing about Betty White

@@hatcherrohm5534 I used to work in the theater, and worked with many over-60 actors. Unfortunately, you hit a certain age and your ability to memorize lines goes FAST and HARD. I even saw such pros as James Earl Jones and Blythe Danner reading from teleprompters and being fitted with in-ear devices because they just couldn't reliably remember their lines during live performances. The fact that Betty's delivery was so sharp even at this age is amazing, and when she flubs she keeps the energy up, stays in the scene, and is ready to go again. She's working her ass off

Betty understood where she was at each stage of her life and made the comedic most of it. This was, in my opinion, her finest role. But even more, one of the things she is cracking up about over and over again is the writing on this show. People don't appreciate what a truly great script they worked with week after week. I felt like I was watching a classic 70's sitcom every show!

I think the blackberry bit was legendary. Everyone that worked with Betty W. is probably blessed with a longer life from all the genuine laughter she handed out as an eternal gift. How many entertainers became intensely more amazing the older they got? Betty White was genuine and absolutely brilliant. Such a loss to have her gone, but such a blessing to have all those recorded bits and bloopers to keep her with us always. ❤️😎❤️

I'm so sad that we've lost her, so it feels good to laugh at her humor. Like when she says at 8:00 "So do I but it's been so long!" I almost fell out of my chair I laughed so hard. RIP Dear Lady. Hoping you are with Allen again.

Betty White is an even better character off set! Love that woman so much! She was a special lady, and a legend that out lived everyone! She sure didn't look, or act, like a 90 year old woman at the time.. Most 90 year olds would be long retired, and she was still kicking and spitting out those lines out like nothing to it, and had a great time while doing it! I'm gonna miss her so much! I thank her for the many years of memories and laughter she's given me! The legacy she left behind and all the wonderful things she did in her long life will never be forgotten! Betty will always be in all of our hearts! RIP and long live Betty White! 🌸❤

These women are GREAT together. From the first episode to the last they were the best ensemble cast! I always watch this when I need a good laugh! RIP Betty.

Such a beautiful, classy, refined lady. I loved her so much in the 1980’s when she was in Golden Girls, I still watch reruns now and still laugh out loud. I named my eldest daughter Elizabeth. Thanks to Liz Taylor and Betty White.

Betty was my favorite human being besides my mom. I was very sad when I heard the news of her passing & still and but seeing just how funny & quick she was; what a gift she was to all of us. If there’s anything to take from her death it’s to be kind & try to find humor when you feel like there’s none.

@Timothy Stevens I said the same thing comparing Betty White and my mama on a comment on another video. That is just how special Betty White was! She was so beautiful inside and out. She was so funny. She had a way of making humor that could have been offensive completely non-offensive and hilarious! She made millions and millions of people feel as though they truly knew her as a family member of Their Own. She lived a beautiful life and she will certainly be Miss!
