For everyone that says "he's rich it doesnt matter", well ya know he doesn't have to do this. He's rich and he earned every dollar of it. It's awesome to see that he gives to people for no reason. Yea he gets content from it, but this is a small portion of his income. Good man Dawson, thank you for doing what you do.

FOR ME ..? People are always in disbelief when they are treated with kindness , that goes to show how much negativity people go through and endure everyday. Big ups to you Dawson. You have to understand that $1000 for most people is an incredible amount, especially the demographic Dawson selects. Handing someone that much triggers a red flag and typically means either a scam, something in return, or a ruse, e.g., counterfeit money. It rarely means what he's doing on camera, i.e., literally giving away free money. I think that's the reason most people are in disbelief. If he were giving away $50-$100 most people would gladly accept it in certain situations. I've tipped a waitress that many times without acknowledgement because I believe in selfless giving. I've also given away amounts up to $3000 without reciprocity (meaning no camera or charity write-off) because it was the right thing to do.

People think jackets and objects are a big deal to just give away to a stranger but it’s like.. human decency to help somebody out. It’s really not a big deal at all. Really shows what kind of guy you are. I wish I had the funds to do this. I bought an elderly couples breakfast at a diner in ND a few months back and didn’t stick around to see their response. you have time. donate your time to folks that need help. older folks need help in a bad way. so you can give back if you really want. you can paint a room. take them to an appointment. pick up groceries. etc.

Videos inspired me for some random acts of kindness. Stopped by a few gas stations on Christmas Eve and left a nice tip to the cashier ringing me up for them working on Christmas Eve.
