The broadhead matters wayyyyyy less than shot placement. Just practice often and you can kill em with anything

@@zachyvengence6 it's not crazy it's hitting bone I put my fixed through both shoulders and got a pass through with shaving sharp blades the deer went 40 yards and crashed🤷‍♀️

@jaketrembler5534 I shoot a fixed blade (cutthroat), but you are missing the whole point of my comment.. you will kill a deer with anything if it is in the right place. All you are doing is pointlessly arguing effectiveness which doesn't even go along with my initial comment. Please go find something else to do with your life

@@ericnoyes464 yeah, had a couple major deviations but that could have been more of an FOC and weight issue. The one shot was quartered away on a whitetail where the arrow hit the ribs, deflected and sliced an 8 inch gash on its side before tucking between the shoulder and ribs. Ended up getting it but it took 2 hours to expire.

I switched to rage after trying dozens of others. The rear deployment is the key to expandable. Every deer since I've switched required no tracking. Blood trail was crazy@

Honestly the broadhead you use should be the one that flys the best out of your bow.idc mechanical or fixed they all kill.you should really be focusing on your grip and your release that’s what causes more mess ups then anything elce 👍

I use the rage, have tried others but the rage does the job extremely well. No argument from me!

Personally I use field points exclusively. Go for head shots and heart shots and you will drop them every time, just as good as a broad head. (Actually I theorize that its better than a broadhead because a clean slice creates a strong seal once the arrow has passed through) Tried the G5 small game fixed blade once, wouldn’t recommend. However I have had tremendous success simply firing an arrow with no tip at all. Sarcasm aside I just use generic G5 fixed blade broadheads and they work well but I’m hoping I get some mad people who didn’t read everything.

Most deer lost from horrible penetration from catching a rib goes toooooo....(drumroll)........Rage! Lost a giant because of Rage. Went right back to my Muzzy 3 blade.

I lost a deer last year due to poor penetration with the rage trypan. 30 yards away, great placement, but only 6” in. Placement is important but not king. Just killed a doe at 25 yards with a 3-blade fixed G5 this past Sunday. One blade broke through the ribs, punctured one lung, made a 5” cut, and the 2 other blades rode up the ribs. Luckily it rode up and zipped directly through her spine, instantly paralyzing her. Follow-up shot also zipped right through heart and shoulder. Fixed broadheads are the way. But I’m considering a 2-blade fixed broadhead with a single bevel next.

G5 out of my crossbow at 30yds Monster buck was hit almost broadside, clean pass-through and blood poured like a faucet. He stumbled 5 steps like he was drunk and fell dead. I love the G5

Tomoster I find that very hard to believe. If it was the rage good placement and 30 yards you must be shooting 15lb bow. No actually that would probably still work. Rage all the way. Easy to track no matter where you hit it😅😂

Try out your rage hypo head to head against a Sevr. I think you’ll find the rage falls short on quality, trainability and durability even though they both get the job done.

Rage. No rage. No yelling. No arguing. not even a swift breeze. I would bet im out a minimum $500+ with brand new broad heads relying on boobtube experts. I hate shuttle T and they fly better and Ive killed multiple animals with them…. Rage is pure marketingf. crap accuracy. on the other hand, a Carni-four…. 100 yards shooting all day recycling the same head over and over and over from foam blocks, no issues.

Funny thing is, that wasn't even a Rage broadhead, its a knockoff. Also the original Muzzy was a 4 blade. Lastly the Bear Razor head has killed more deer than all of them.

That looked like the new rage "NC" No collar made by rage. Hard to tell could be knock off. I think the rear deployment is the key to expandables.
