Is the Apple Watch really a watch?? Of course it is….but I still love conventional wrist watches too! So how does one dress up an Apple Watch Ultra and make it more versatile for work or formal settings? Easy! Upgrade or switch out the stock band for an aftermarket metal band or bracelet.
In this video we will look at two of the better options that I have found to see if this is an upgrade worth considering...

I got the newer version of the titanium band (with butterfly clasp) Just FYI, titanium scratches a lot easier than stainless steel.

Thank you for your informative review. If you are discussing the "Best Bracelet", then it's interesting how there's no mention of Apple's Stainless Steel Link Bracelet. The classiest of them all and it leaves these try-hards in the dust IMHO. There is a good reason why it's expensive - style, quality and Apple's world class engineering and design perfection. You can't beat the original and the best!

Very good point, much appreciated … I still maintain that Apple missed out big time not offering a version of the ultra with a metal/titanium bracelet edition at launch. Apple’s ss link bracelet looks great but at $349 msrp, it’s hard for me to recommend or consider, especially when there are so many high quality aftermarket options at a fraction of the price. Nevertheless, thanks so much for watching my vid and for your well stated feedback!

I used a strapcode 22mm Hexad III QR Watch Band, This one happens to exactly match up to Rolex Submariner band and clasp. I used a 16mm Rolex sub clasp, By mating this band up to this clasp. The clasp ends up being the exact same width as the band and matches up perfectly. It's probably the most comfortable Apple watch Ultra setup you can possibly get. BTW you don't need the Rolex clasp. The one that comes on the strapcode band it great.

that "seamless" clasp honestly looks worst than a break in the links for a clasp. It somehow looks super weird where the clasp is.

Understandable, from a watch perspective… these devices are still computers with perishable power sources and probable endpoint to OS/App support eventually. Not sure how easy or practical it will ever be to replace the battery if or when that time comes. But still a very cool watch ( for now :) Thanks for tuning in!

You can replace the battery…at any Apple Store….
