love the fact that they moved the caps inboard. that was my only real big complaint about the old model is that the caps were loose an if anything happened to them your esc was dead.

In my experience. They make nice stuff as long as you're reasonable with the expectations and follow the limitations in the owners guide. Big battery connectors are the 1st step in running an efficient power system

Yes agree, i always use xt90's especially for 4s and above, although in the next video i will be pushing the bounderies of this esc 👍

Been running one of these for a little while now. Really happy with it! Think it's the best deal for this kind of ESC you can get.

Thank ypu for commenting, yep have it in my rlaarlo ak917 at the moment and achieved 70+ mph, great little esc for the money 👍

A rocket 3200kv 550 size, although had to remove the reciever box on the omni to fit in.

hello friend ! What do you think of this new esc 10bl120g2? And is it really good? Is the programming card the same as the previous model? I'm wanting to buy this new version of the 10bl120 g2.

Hi it has been working great for me, i have had no issues and tested it in several cars, i even put it in a 1/8 buggy on 4s with a large motor and it performed really well 👍 im using the standard hobbywing programme card and works fine

Nice description. Why does it have to be paired with less then a 2600kv motor? Will it fry the motor otherwise? I have a maverick quantum flux plus 3s with a 3100kv motor. Could it not be paired with this motor?

Hi thanks for comment, the lower kv is mainly if you are running a bigger motor likev a 4268 as it will pull to much load from your esc, if your using a smaller motor then higher kv should be fine, i have been using a 3200kv motor on 3s and 4s with no issues 😁 If your motor is 3660 or smaller you should be ok up to 4000kv

@@RCvapor ah cool! I do not have 4s batteries yet... but do you think an 120 esc will be noticable faster than a 100 esc, on the same 3s battery?

Honestly probably not. It will run cooler so you may get better run time and smoother acceleration, to improve speed ypu are better running a slightly bigger pinion or a really good quality battery can make a big difference, e.g 100c one. With the 120 10bl you can also up the timing of motor to increase speed, but this can overheat or damage the motor.

I bought two of these in a combo both of them have issues with reverse! After multiple binding and calibration attempts, I cannot figure out why there’s such a delay in the reverse, sometimes reverse does not even work at all!

if it’s set to brake/reverse than first time going reverse is braking and second time is reverse. that’s the normal behavior. or do you mean something different?

i'm having the same issue when my car is at a stand still it will go into break instead of reverse so i have to accelerate a bit first and brake and then i can reverse but its pretty annoying when there is something infront of the rc car and i have to run into it to reverse

Friend ! please help me I bought the esc it came without the cable, which connects to the motor, what is the gauge, (section) awg that I buy for the motor? What would be the cable? Do I buy it with a silicone cover? I'm going to use a 540v 8.5T motor in this 10bl120 g2 esc

Does your motor not have wires ? If it does not then you will need 12awg silicon wire and 4mm bullets to go into esc. Or a motor with 4mm bullets, hope this helps.

Hi, personally if you dont need a sensored system and just for general running or bashing i would go for this esc, i have run this esc in several cars from 1:10 to 1/8 from 2s to 4s and it has been brilliant, hope that helps 👍🏻

Yes sensorles, which is fine for bashing and speed runs 👍tbh i jave a few sensored ESC's that i dont bother using the sensor wire, as seem to get better acceleration for bashing.
