Great video! But it's sad how expensive these parts are, I know they are of good quality but it's like bruh I can just buy a honda civic and drive fr with the amount of money I'm boutta spend on a sim setup

@Team VANL if your playing on PC (which u are, lol) then I cant recommend more the BUTTKICKER GAMER 2! Even the best Force Feedback wheels just dont give that "realistic" feel to gaming, BUT, when COMBINED with the Buttkicker, they both just come together & make it 10x more real feeling! PLUS it actually HELPS your driving! as when setup properly (MESSAGE ME FOR HELP! I'm here for EVERYONE!) you can feel the wheels spinning etc & the first time with Forza Horizon 4-5 & felt the kerb with EACH wheel as I drove off it, I nearly had an orgasm, lol.

It’s been a while but there is a screw somewhere to adjust resistance, i didn’t do it too tight but enough to make it feel somewhat real

WTF???? HOW do you seem to have the EXACT SAME "custom" steering wheel as I do?? I mean I'm in Australia, so even online I have VERY little choice, in fact, the wheel I bought to attach to my Thrustmaster TX & T300 RS (needed both for PC, PS4 & Xbox) was the ONLY wheel choice that had that nice, grippy "suede" covering, BUT, the Tmaster "adapter" I bought didnt fit at ALL so I had to make my own adapter, which even included some wood, but is perfect, I should maybe upload the design so others can just trace around it. I just have a bigger monitor (Aorus 43inch) & use 2x Samsung 4K TV's on either side of my monitor for a full surround type deal, since my i9 + 3090 Probably cant handle 3x 4K screens at over 60fps anyway, the TV's are fine!

whats the mount u use for your handbreak and shifter?

just using the mounts they came with, one is a clamp and the other uses bolts, they attach to the plate that came with the NLR racing seat kit

This setup was amazing, i got countless hours of driving. i don’t use it as much because i drift in real life quite frequently now but anytime i have free time and want to drive i’ll get on. the only issue i’ve had is loss of ffb after lots of driving but some simple cooling mods to the wheel base (there’s tons of vids online) and you’re set !

if you have time, there is a street drifting playlist on my channel and you can see just how much this sim helped me. it will teach you the basics and helps a ton with muscle memory and general understanding of physics

Hey, thanks for making this video but also for including all the links for the equipment. I’m very interested in building a PC with all of the drift rig components, but I wanted to ask, what would you say everything cost in total? Would I be able to do this or more with around $1500? Thanks!

most of the money will go to the wheel base, pedals, and the pc build. You want to make sure you spec the PC to handle assetto, that way you aren’t forced to spend more money upgrading in the future. start by searching how to build budget gaming PC, those videos help tons. if you want to save money look into buying a used sim rig setup, used parts in good working order is how i budget most of this stuff.

@@orivillejohanson6058 you can probably find a better graphics card for cheaper since new o was have released ! besides that everything else is still good. i would also opt for some more storage

@@marcodiaz9503 I have never tried Moza but they seem like they have a decent wheel base. One note, I wouldn't advise buying any bundle that only comes with two pedals.

a lot of guys run it straight up to simulate a hydro e brake. i got the sim to help with irl drifting so i have mine positioned flat.

Thank you! My cockpit can wobble a bit although I don’t feel it much. Since my wheel is aftermarket I have an adapter and it has play to it now so I need to go in and fix it. My discord is Kris Wyche#1903 !!
