Yes Tony as in my own comment they pose so any risks to others of the public and the rider including such risks as having your house burn down if the battery on these wretched things happens to go nuclear while being charged. Actually I am surprised at Brian even doing a video on these things after I have followed him for many years and this is so out of character for him.

@@Britec09 ....Which you weren't, clearly, during your test! As other ppl have stated, these things are a menace to society and cause so many accidents, including deaths. Just because you say they must only be used on private land...the reality is, 99% of riders are youths and they don't give a shit about the law. I cannot believe you're even testing one!

Maybe because electric scooters are here to stay regardless how much you hate them just like many people hate shit drivers in vans, cars etc. And I personally love my scooter and it gets me to work everyday and you'll only have problems if you don't do maintenance etc. Like anything that operates batteries or fuel. You're all acting like they're so bad yet probably have never tried themselves so wouldn't understand the situation for others who do use them. Not all "youths" and actually I'm 37 so couldn't give a flying Fk what you think about scooter riders lol. Experienced worse issues with car drivers...Including deaths! Oh you mean like drunk drivers or people speeding in cars do? Right.....

Go for the i10 model, if you can't, I don't recommend it, the basic scooters are not good

Yes, I10 is really beter, but heavier with 2 kg...

@@peshoa1 but those 2 kg are from a battery that's more powerful, big and reliable, and another break in the front and believe me you need that second break in crucial situations, I end with a Acl injury because of that with a i9 max

This is something different from usual. It good to see you get outside for much needed vitamin D...lol. Looking at you holding the bike, you look a bit shaky. I think your hands are best at what they do that is working on the keyboard not riding. Anyway, nice produce, but I think its best for kids under 20 years of age. I don't know about others, but for me, this is out of my comfort zone. I think I have some kind of phobia with vehicles having only two wheels.

Lots of companies sell them in the UK, but we have strict laws for E-Scooters. These laws will probably change to be honest, but here are the laws www.halfords.com/cycling/advice/are-electric-scooters-legal.html

Currently, electric scooters can only be used on private land with the landowner's permission. It is effectively illegal to use them on public roads, on pavements, in cycle lanes and in pedestrian-only areas. (Hope nobody shares this video with the wrong people!)

Please remember these rules. A car motorbike bus lorry all go faster than the speed limit. 🚀 And there aloud on the road... Also a lyra person on a bush bike with no insurance can get speeds of up to 45 mph... Why aren't they banned. 👀

That looks like a fun scooter to experiment on. I'd mount a couple generators on it so it would charge itself while riding. A lot of people tried to tell me that wasn't possible, but I did it with an electric golf cart.

Well Brian I am vehemently against any form of electric transport simply because there are far too many issues with lithium ion driven power train vehicles. There have been so many fires for example world wide including down here in Australia and these fires are so dangerous in that they emit extremely toxic materials plus lethal and explosive gases that are known to cause life changing disabilities and/or death from the time of exposure to days, weeks and even years after that exposure. Add to that there are individuals who ride these wretched scooters without any consideration to the public and heaven forbid road users. Frankly I cannot see any reason why anyone could not walk or take some other safer form of transport.
