Question - if I enable some effects & settings on windows using the RØDE Connect software. Will it be carried over to other devices, like my PS5 or iPad. Bcz I cannot install any software on those devices to control this mic. Please can you answer??? I am looking forward to use this only on my PS5 for streaming, gaming recording. I saw that this has a NOISE GATE built in which is triggered by the software. And software is only on Windows & Mac. So what I'm thinking is, I'll connect this mic to my windows laptop, enable noise filter & then take this to my PS5/ipad. But i need to know if the setting done on windows software will work on ps5/ipad.

3:41 The problem: Unequal Balance in audio channels. ( I personally has experienced with a cheap collar mic, It's common) Solution: ( The mic will give you stereo audio. You got high audio in one channel and the other channel usually has low audio with noise mixed. ) Separate both channels and delete the low audio channel. Duplicate that single channel into another channel. ( don't go with mono settings but same audio in both stereo channels ) How to do this? I use OBG studio and I have my setting present always enabled with noise suppression. For Further volume balance, I do audio normalization and audio ducking in Premiere pro ( Yes, I'm a video editor. I have to manage both video and audio. You have to focus on everything from visuals to audio during a video stream )

hello thankyou so much for giving correct information. i ordered yesterday this after watched your video i have one problem when i connect rode mini usb with my computer it record every single noise very loudly but when i connect only with phone adapter its output through headphone is very good. doet it need some setting in computer or i have to repace it thanyou bro

Thank you Lakhan for the appreciation. Are you recording via Rode Connect you can control the mic frequency with the bars? Stay silent, see if the bar is moving, if yes, keep going down until the bar is either gone or is at its lowest and just picking up sound when you start talking. This is how you record at low DBs and later you can fix it in post.

hi, the video was really helpful , i need to ask one thing, i have the same mic, and i record voiceover in a room where i have made some suitable changes for the voiceover but my voice doesnt come out like yours. i meant the bass in the voice, how can i achieve it?

Thank you for the feedback, it means a lot. As per your query, normally women's voice is high-pitch that makes it less bassy but the other mistake that usually people make is maintain the distance. If you have watched my podcasts you might have noticed that sometimes guest's audio is slow and has less bass reason being they sit away from the microphone. Not really, as it won't pick clear audio from the other side and will allow a lot of noise as well.

It has USB connectivity. You must connect it to Laptop where you can use it with it’s free RODE Connect software.

The layman difference between condenser & dynamic is that condenser is more sensitive and picks up sounds in most accurate way for voice as well as instruments.
