I just had my barn burn down with every tool I own. 25 years of good tool truck tools and insurance screwed me bad. I am replacing to get back to work with mostly cheaper thanks for the video buddy I am definitely going with some DURATECH about all I can afford but so much at one time.

China was able to make some of the best AK-47s in the world, along with their SKS rifles they produced. It just depends on how much they care about what they are doing.

Love the wera kit. It’s my favorite as well. Their attention to detail is off the charts. Like the knurling on the sockets and how everything is so accessible.

Nice looking bit kit, hang it right in a hutch..Used ignition wrenches in my early years , did a fair share of points ..got the old craftsman sets..they haven't seen a whole lot of use but glad I have them..Thanks Buddy 👍

You were mentioning the micro wrenches. I have metric and snap on micro wrench sets. They were not that expensive in the early 90s but wow they are now. The Box end is six point the fit and finish is excellent but wow are they costly. You also mentioned some kind of sacrilege about having too many bit sets and I was like " no"!

The wera sets are my go to. I also have the wera zyklops “nut driver” set I keep with it that has two 1/4 ratchets and different extensions and accessories.

I have that Tekton micro bit set as well. Never owned a better cheapo kit in my life. The bits are cut really well. I just wish they'd have made a better spot in the case for the nut drivers.

I got the duratech bit driver set. I've only used it twice once on my knife and once on an hvac job. Well worth the measley 20 bucks I paid for it

I use a 2” ratchet when the tough gets going. I like those Michael Pro tools.

For a while now in the EDC knife community, China has really stepped up their game in terms of quality, fit and finish at good prices. Naturally, I still prefer to support my country first. But I appreciate quality and integrity of manufacturing from wherever the origin. But overall, I think you and I agree that after US, Germany/Japan are a close tie, followed by Taiwan as a solid4th. But of course, that also depends on the tool itself, the make, personal preference of feel, etc. Thanks for another great vid.

I have that gearwrench set been using it for a few years was just in the garage using it today. I had some tight spots to get to and its just bad ass for that

Those drive end breaker bars turn another breaker bar into a very comfortable cheater pipe

S2 is only good if the heat treat is good, pretty nice looking set though

I have duralast min racheting wrenches my wife got me one time. They are nice but they skipped some needed sizes

I was in manufacturing over 40 years & in the last 20 years I watched as America has fallen to last place in the Selling & Purchasing of Manufacturing Equipment on the Global Market. China, India, Korea & Vietnam have taken the Manufacturing Market over. Countries purchasing the newest state of the art manufacturing equipment will produce the Superior products.
