Great unboxing and a decent review. I would have liked to hear more from the cheaper two but I think I got some kind of sense of them. I'm planning to get one of the two. MM1 did better with wind but BM2021 sounded a bit wider and less tinny in good conditions.

Oh man, that's a good review, especially the wind test. I'd like to know how you mount the camera into the hi-hat? Did you use 3/8 to 1/4 convertor?

I have the smaller one but I have some issues in wind conditions. Sometimes as Im speaking the wind cut the sound. Instead of hearing wind as I speak some letters or phrases are muted. Do u know how i should fix this? Im using a sony a6300

But did you stand in front of the microphones or to the side while testing? That makes huge difference since the BY-MM1 is cardioide and the BY-BM2021 is supercardioide...

Rode video mic pro is pretty good But for untrained ears they cant differentiate the difference between the rode and BM3031. Bm3031 sounds pretty descent and way way cheaper compare to rode. imo I'll go with BM3031 but thats just my opinion.

The smallest one is works really well. I suggest u start from the cheapest one. Trust me its enough to do the work.
