@joshisup10kmv44 They are a good beginning card for sure. Once you get established and hit that 2-3 yr mark move on to Chase, Amex etc. But to get started they are solid for sure

You're right, the Savor One card is a crowd pleaser because it has a good return on two of people's biggest spending areas and for no AF. But, don't forget about the entertainment category. It works for event tickets, museums, movie theaters, and other stuff like that.

Pretty spot on in my opinion. I did start with the platinum. Then got the $39 qs, was able to pc to venture one because of no annual fee after some time.

Capital One Venture X is the easiest premium CC to get back max value/offset the AF. IMO it is not just the best Capital One CC but easily one of the best CCs on the market right now. Thanks for the info + video!

I have a savor but it works for me with the fee. Since I dine out a lot, also get groceries and go to concerts and shows etc., this works for me. Added bonus that my family doesn’t care very much if at all about points or cash back etc I’m always offering to cover the tab and just have them pay me back so I get all the points😅 I always offer and try to show them what benefits their cards have but they’re just not interested.

I was going between Savor or Venture card both with $95 annual fee but went with the latter instead for the $750 bonus. Even though the Venture is essentially a 2% card but with the annual fee it's effectively a 1.5% rewards card. So in the future i might get the SavorOne to use on 3% cash back on groceries and dining which can be converted to mile/points (but not vice versa) one day. And use the Venture for everyday purchase

Capital One has been really stepping it up lately!! The Venture X is arguable the most popular travel card out there right now, and they have multiple other products to back it like you talk about here. I always love competition among lenders, so I’m all here for Capital One continuing to push the narrative, even if not all of their cards are super powerful yet! Great video man.

If you look at the combo of the Savor and Venture vs some of the Chase combos, the Capital One combo actually gets better multipliers in a lot of categories

I have a suggestion for a Capital One "Trifecta": Savor One - Streaming Services (3%), Fast Food (3%), Uber/Uber Eats (10%), C/O Entertainment (8%), Entertainment (3%) Key Rewards - Groceries (4%), Dining non F/F (4%) Venture X - Catch all card (2x), rentals and hotels (10x), flights (5x)

I've had interest in the Savor card but I just haven't had a good experience with Capital One. If I didn't have the Amex Platinum I might get the Venture X but even then, I'd probably get the Navy Fed Flagship instead

The Venture is the better deal IF you already have other premium cards that offer the travel benefits the X and don't have any travel coming up on year one.

I have the saver one, Quicksilver, and venture one. The Quicksilver doesn't get used much for its 1.5% back, however Capital One shopping can make this a good online shopping card to earn extra money back. I just bought some vivid seats to an NBA game and got a 10% statement credit from Capital One shopping, as well as the 8% cash back I get as a multiplier bonus with vivid seats on the saver one right now

Nice score with the tickets! You also have the only no-annual-fee card trifecta that offers access to travel transfer partners. Now whether that’s valuable to you is another question.

The Capital One Venture One Card was one of the first cards I got when I was rebuilding my credit. Can't say that card has ever really done much for me over the years. It still has the lowest credit limit of any card that I have. It's retired. I got Quicksilver Card last year and got twice the limit. The 0% APR was the best thing about it, and I have taken advantage of it. The Savor One could be the one I'm really looking for though.

Well let me tell you i have capitol one quicksilver secured card for more than 6 months and Honestly i don’ see any Movement fron capitol one to reimburse my $200 of deposit. Looks like I’m gonna be in the bucket for a while. I apply for another car and I’ll give me the savor one for a good credit with $500 credit limit so far so good the card works.

I have both the SavorOne and the Venture X. You can even pool the cash back you earn with the SavorOne and convert it to miles!

@@Ash-so7uh If I had to pick one it'd be the SavorOne, especially because it now gives you 10% cash back on Uber rides which is pretty unreal. But I convert all of the cash back to miles to redeem through the Venture X, so it's a tough choice.

You can transfer rewards from cash back cards like Savor into your Venture X account. You can't go the other way, though, you can't take Venture miles and transfer them to one of the cash back cards.

My first ever credit card was the secured credit card. Paid $99 to get it. This was in Oct 2015. Fast forward 6 years later. On Dec 2021 I have a $99 credit on this card….I was trying to figure out why? I never ever use this card (probably every 6 months I buy something super small to keep it open) and then I get a check on the mail…and yes I had graduated and received my $99 deposit (6 years later) 😂😂

Yea capital one is slow on graduating people to non secured status. It took me around 5 years to graduate but still stuck with a $500 credit limit after 10 years

Low credit limit to start can’t really use anything off of it that’s why in order to get a credit increase you have to show them that your using the card so when using the card max it out least once a month and then pay it back right away say you used 90 out of the 99 today then a few days after pay back 80 then next few days you pay off the 19 if they don’t see much activity on the card it won’t increase js

I wouldn’t recommend capitol one after finding out what I found out today I got my cap1 SavorOne card yesterday and I realized then it was the worst credit decision ever 😂 if you can go to Navy Federal it’s better and you save more of your hard earned money with them Cap1 is robbers 🤦‍♂️

I got my secured card Aug 2021 and didn’t start using it til like May 2022 and got my $99 security deposit back January 2023. So it took 8 months from when I started using it, and it was these past few months that I was going hard on using it getting close to maxing it out. I think that’s what triggered leveling up to unsecured status however my credit limit is still at $200 🤨

The problem with Cap one is they come out the gate swinging and hit all 3 of your credit reports with an inquiry. They aren't that special. They can keep their cards. Chase or Citi comes back with a limit $15-20K. Cap One is like here is your $50 card

While Capital One does issue the Walmart card, it is really Walmart's card vs being a Capital One branded card, so I did not include it when comparing Cap One cards, especially since Capital One also issues a number of other cards on behalf of retail stores.

I would never get a capital one business card because it reports on your personal credit so all that utilization you do on your business card is going to be on your personal credit report The capital one card business cards are pointless@@ProudMoney

I tried downgrading my $39 annual fee Quiksilver today and they told me there was no downgrade option. The regular Venture card comes with a $100 hotel credit that negates the $95 fee but the Venture X is better. I got my eyes set on that one next.

Capital One is the worst credit card I've ever had! Card got lost, I was able to call and get it nullified. Now to replace it they insist I enter the three digit number from the back of the card, BUT I DON'T HAVE THE CARD! Never any human being to speak to at Capital One, just their obnoxious user unfriendly machine. In March I made an $88 payment and I have paid the card down some so I thought $88 would be enough vs the $95 I usually pay, then suddenly I got a demand letter for $314 insisting I was two months behind! BS! I mailed a screenshot of the March payment from Chase Bank account. Now I cannot get them to state any balance or any other action.
