I'm not sure who it is now, but the NFL player who was the best at basketball was Antonio Gates and a tie with Tony Gonzalez. I don't think any current would beat them. I believe they both earn full college scholarships to play football and basketball. Of course they both chose the football route.

Back in the day there was more NFL players who played basketball than now for sure. Julius Peppers was a beast, Ronald Curry, Charlie Ward, Antonio Gates, Tony Gonzalez, and Terrell Owens. There's a few more I'm probably forgetting but yea miss those days man

I saw him registered in a league in AZ that a KZfaqr was playing in. I'm not sure how good at basketball he is or was in his younger years though.
