This guide explains how to install KirbyCam as your Chase Camera for Assetto Corsa. I'll also show you how to adjust it and tune it so that it's perfect for any car mod. It's a beginner-friendly tutorial that anyone can follow. You do need Content Manager and CSP though. This video goes over how to download and use KirbyCam which is the best chase camera for Assetto Corsa. I also explain how to install it and set it up since different Asetto Corsa mods require different Chase Camera settings because of their different height. Basic cam is so much easier to actually drift in, but I always drift in first person and just drone camera in replay after for a cinematic look but Kirby cam is cool

great tutorial! Idk if i did something wrong but i've got a small issue. At high speed, my 3rd person camera wobbles/shakes up and down a lot. I disabled high speed shaking and still persists....any idea how to fix it?

The chase cam preview doesn't work for me, it shows a spiner and then remains blank. Any ideas? ffs, it hasn't worked since the first time. The camera itself works in-game but it's annoying to enter the game every time just to tweak the camera settings.

I purchased your pure things through your video and followed every step and then purchased the csp preview to get the rain and I have the RainFX tab but when I’m in game I can’t see the rain

@@astrofn2091 Try it in practice, see if it works. My presets are free and all they do is modify some Pure parameters, so you're basically only using Pure then, which shouldn't affect rain at all. Test it out in practice first and make sure your controller script is set to SOL and weather script is set to Pure. And comment on that video please for other info, this one is about the chase camera.

Awsome video/turial, Ive got it all working, however im on triple screen (7680×1440) my car is at the very bottom of the screen, like i cant even see the rear of the car, ive put distance as far away as possible but still not rite. Is ther a way for me to be able to modify camera position any more?

That's some setup, no wonder you can't see it hahah. You might be able to but you'll need to tweak the code of Kirby Cam itself. If you go to '\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\lua\chaser-camera\kirbycam' and open up the camera.lua file in notepad, use Ctrl+F to find distance (local distance = cameraParameters.distance + (wheelbase)) and try adding + 1 somewhere in there or + 2 to see if it helps, or just try experimenting with other distance lines in the code. This is all just a suggestion remember, I haven't tested it and don't know whether it'll work. You can always remove it tho or reinstall Kirby if you mess something up.

I came from your pure installation guide and I'm having trouble with the srp graphics folder not wanting to open up because it says it is either damaged or it's unknown could you please just post your csp and video settings in the description and have it so all you have to do is press save and apply because I'm not sure how to open it.

Your English is great my friend. Did you try reinstalling KirbyCam? It sometimes bugs out and reinstalling it will fix it. Try it but remember your settings obviously.

It's automatic. If you don't have it, try changing the car from Drive and select a different one, there might be an issue with some mods. Also, if you change a lot of mods, you'll need to restart Content Manger or it'll get bugged out.

Yeah, it's mostly used for replays since it's difficult to drift in third person. Why would you drift in 3rd person view though anyway? Use interior or hood camera, it's infinitely better.

Did you change anything? Try reinstalling it or return the old camera in Content Manager and then go back to KirbyCam.

I think most people use it for replays, no one uses it to drive like that (at least not when driving seriously). I might use it when I'm just cruising to hear the car from the outside, otherwise I use the interior cam.

Did you try paddle shifters? It isn't manual H-pattern I believe, only semi-auto.

I have tried it and it's great but I prefer the slightly more cinematic experience KirbyCam gives. The camera slightly moves when you handbrake or get on throttle, making it somehow better for me. It's all personal tho, I agree the OG box cam is great :)
