Can claim what Mike said is true! There is always a line out the door rain or shine. Although everyone say they are there for the cheap price, trust me the food there, especially roast meats, particularly the "char-siu" or roast pork, are ridiculously delicious, there is nothing that I've tried in the rest of the city that can come close to how good it tastes. I remembered it closed for a while because of renovations and I was afraid that we the locals will lose this delicious gem. As far as I know it's a small family-owned business and is run by only a handful of people, so I love going there. If you are ever in New York City Chinatown, please go check it out! I can guarantee you will not regret standing in line.

It used to be 3 dollar and 50 cents for the small one and trust me if you ever go to NYC China Town you have to try this place. The owner is very generous about the meat he will fill the box until it's literally un fillable. The sauce he puts on the rice is not salty or oily. The only few problems are you have to wait in line for at least 10 to 15 minutes and you can forget about it during lunch/dinner rush hours, also that place have no seating, it's tiny but you won't miss it

When I used to work in Chinatown many years ago this was a very convenient place for breakfast and lunch but the line wasn't that bad. Now it's been exposed to social media.

I've been to this place! I went to the US as a tourist from England a couple of years ago..... Stayed in Chinatown, and ate here regularly! Excellent value for money, and the food is really good too!

In my town, Pontianak, Indonesia. The two types of pork are served in a menu, with "salted vegetables", slices cucumber, sauced chicked and egg, rice and special condensed broth. We call it " Nasi Campur". It only costs Rp. 25.000 ( 2 dollars). No other places sell it better than us in Pontianak 😁😁😁

The Chinese greens they serve is napa cabbage, the same veg used in kimchi. The guy who roasts the pig has to start at 5 am to make the prep for lunch service. When they sell it at $5 bucks, they're giving it away cheap. From what I can see, it's a high quality product. Mikey said so.

It used to be $2.75 Any meat over ruce (Roast Chicken, Roast Duck, Roast Pig and Roast Pork. Now its $4.75 (for any chicken) $5.25 for Roast Pig and Duck) but you know what still a great price! Cant beat that plus its taste different and delicious.

You have to try the sausage. The suckling pig is a seasonal option that you have to taste to believe. You can almost hear the suckling pig cry with each bite. Very tender and juicy. Try it, you will understand what I said.
