Honda CRF300L Rally: Where the dirt ends and road begins, the CRF300L Rally is waiting to bring adventure bike capability to your everyday commute. The nimble design and plentiful low-end power combine with smart features for an ideal transportation solution through busy streets and bumpy trails. The bodywork is inspired by Dakar Rally racebikes, which means it looks as good as it performs. The tall windscreen provides solid protection against the elements. And the long motocross-style seat gives you all-day comfort and allows you to easily move around in the saddle. If you have a dual sport that’s even lighter and more affordable in mind, make sure you check out our honda CRF300L.
Honda CRF300L:
Balance is the key when riding any motorcycle. And we’re not talking about just balancing on two wheels: We’re talking about the balance between size, weight, power and handling that makes some bikes great-like the new Honda CRF300L. Based on our previous CRF250L, for 2021, it gets a larger engine with more torque and a whole host of chassis and suspension refinements. What you end up with is one of the best-balanced bikes ever for on- and off-road use. Perfect for weekend trail rides, it’s also among the best choices ever for commuting or urban transportation. And if you’re looking for a version with a windscreen and Dakar-inspired bodywork for a little more weather protection, make sure you check out our new CRF300L Rally.
Yamaha Tenere 700:
The Yamaha Ténéré 700 is a midsize adventure/dual-sport motorcycle manufactured by Yamaha since 2019. It features a 689 cc (42.0 cu in) parallel-twin engine which powers the motorcycle through a six-speed gearbox and chain drive. Brakes are equipped with rider-switchable (on-off) ABS. The "baby Ténéré" is the latest in a series of dual-sport Yamaha motorcycles named after the Ténéré desert stage of the Dakar Rally in the Sahara. The successor to Yamaha's XT660Z Ténéré was first announced as the T7 concept at the 2016 EICMA with an anticipated production launch in 2018. A refined concept was publicized a year later.
Yamaha announced that delivery of bikes would begin in Europe in July 2019, and only the following year to the USA due to emissions and other regulatory delays. The liquid-cooled 4-stroke 8-valve DOHC engine with crossplane crankshaft was already in use and well reviewed in Yamaha's MT-07 naked and Tracer 700 sport touring bikes.

You're a credit to the motorcycling community by showing off less-known bags that are affordable and reliable. A lot of bikers who may have felt stuck getting the more expensive options at least now know that there are other choices available to them.

Hey man thanks for the kind words. We are still using these bags today, we just moved them to my daughters bike for a 5 day motorcycle camping trip a few weeks ago. So far so good.

I have the 48L on my 1290 SAR without racks. I just finished 900 miles in PA mostly offroad and they are perfect. I had my doubts but these bags had zero issues.

Giant loop are really expensive in my country. the saddle bags are around $1600USD. So a set from Rhino for $175USD is very welcome

Sure no problem, honestly I think they are a great product. Maybe if someone was to travel around the world they would get the more expensive bags for piece of mind. But other brands are like 5times the price.

Wow, great review! And the bags look like a bargain. I love my panniers and racks, but oh, the $$$ I paid . This would be perfect for a beginner or expert ADV rider. Thank you!

The cheap stuff always works fine on the first ride. It's the fifth ride, and the fifteenth, and the fiftieth rides, that tell the tale. I've got a set of Nelson-Rigg throw-over saddlebags that were cheap. I got them for my first dirtbike 10+ years ago, and they've been the go-to piece of luggage that I use short-term whenever I get a new bike and don't have luggage for it. But after perhaps 10 rides, they developed a hole in the bag from dirt thrown up from common travel offroad, and stress from being loaded. Dirt grinding on nylon threads, flexing, wearing, fatiguing. I exercised Nelson-Rigg's warranty with them and got a new set and I still have the new set, but I'd rather have bags that just don't do that. Rhinowalks are effectively built the same as the Rigg bags. As are many of the other cheap bags on Amazon. Kriega, Mosko, Wolfman, and some others are not made like that. They don't fatigue from stress and dirt. Abrasion? Sure. But that's a totally different argument.

Have you seen these in person though? They are surprisingly well made. One of the guys on a adv ride I went on recently had them and everyone was impressed with the quality of them

Were they new? Of course they look nice when new. Write back when they're 50 rides old. Let us know how they hold up at that point.

I also have some Kriga gear and thats super strong and great ,,,but it costs an arm and leg,,,,,, There has to be a middle ground .....ie middle price+middle performance

If you do upgrade to the new modular bags system, and if you have no use for these saddle bags, you could cut them open and make it into a similar system to the Mosko moto reckless mounting system.

Rhinowalks get good reviews on T7 owner groups. I personally stick to Kriega, yes pricey, but quality is wow, up there with Mosko. Also very worth checking Lomo bags. Even better value for money than Rhinowalks and quality is sublime! Scottish made too!

@@alrightdave6135 i have both - OS system on my Tenere so OS bags, plus the R15 and R30 rucksacks etc, and i have Lomo bar bags that i leave on the bike with inexpensive stuff in them whereas i take my kriega stuff into my hotel room for obvious reasons. The Lomo are purely marketed as utilitarian waterproof bags and they work well in that matter with no added gimmicks. I have been using the bars bags on 3 bikes and a 40L Lomo dry bag for numerous camping trips and they do just fine!

i personally don't own any OS kriega luggage, but i do have a couple backpacks, and as you said the quality is just wow, the OS luggage looks fantastic, very clean for a soft luggage, and not to many straps to deal with, but, i think kriega has failed to deliver a universal OS Base ( the new one) , the original one has to little support and doesn't do well on big bikes. thinking i might change bike and i dont like the idea of spending $200 again just to use the bags.

Congrat on not selling out ,,I,m really pissed the way some influencers promote bags (or any gear )that always happen tobe very spendy, when you leave a comment about the price, there reply is you gotta pay for quality.. I do not agree ,,there is loads of gear at cheap prices... I will not overspend on stuff like this...I,d rather spend on fuel,,,rant over
