the older model is larger and has backlit buttons. The older model also has connection issues and the buds don't automatically sync to each other - you have to tap them together to get them to sync. These mini ones in my opinion are a vastly better product

QuietStormX you can get quality sound from budget earbuds. It takes a bit if research into Bluetooth profiles, reviews, and what goes into it but I got a pair on sale from 50.00 to 39.99 an alternative pair was almost 200 dollars from Xfyro. I compared both and they sounded extremely similar. I just returned the Xfyro and stuck with the other one. Paying more doesn't alway s mean better quality.
