Bro I want those hand grips. That’s what I’m lacking with my Total Gym. That would work a lot better than the ones that come standard.

Ive just noticed that you have added extra extension to rhe cable. These normal cables make it awkward.

I tried doing the kneeling press with the weight bar across the pilates bar and fell and almost got hurt bad. So I like kneeling forward presses I will never do that again. However I do like kneeling presses with the pilates bar. You can place your hands on different positions and work the chest different ways. I like the different hand position for the flys

Question, the max weight I can do on my total gym with my weight is 88 lbs, using both cables I’m assuming I’m only pressing 44lbs. If I use one cable at a time as a single arm excercise am I doing 88lbs or would I need both cables on one hand? can’t seem to find an answer anywhere

I see sometimes you use weights attached to a bar in your demos, and sometimes you use resistance bands. Any particular reason why you decide to use one over the other?

​@SlidingBenchTrainer I haven't bought my first TG machine yet (and I found you by your reviews). Do the cables and/or connections cut into your arms? Or is it a smooth glide?

I guess it depends on the exercise, but I really have no issues around that. It's weird chest pressing with the cables over the forearms, but I prefer them with the cables running under.

Its no joke man. I used to think free weights were the way to go but if you ever get a chance to try a sliding board machine then i suggest you do and you will quickly change your mind. The one he's using is called a Total Gym. I just purchased a GR8FLEX which is almost the same but is harder because the board can be inclined higher and it has resistance bands built it. BTW most of his bulk has come from using this machine.
