I bought a turntable and this album came with the deal so I took it, and when I got home I played the whole album.. It's still repeating and has been for the past 3 days

Bethany is a brilliant lyricist she uses simple yet relatable emotional sentences

this song breaks my heart.. thats how you know its a good song..

@hmmacd that's the idea, bethany cosentino's lyrics are always so simple because that's how bluesy/surfy/pop songs were back in the 50-60's. it's like reading from a teenage girl's diary. that's the idea.

I think she's drunk, high and stoned when she writes her songs, but I love her voice and the music and it's not bad at all they are just so simple haha!

at :44 - 49 they are at Cake shop in nyc, like 2009 I think...she mentioned that was their first show in nyc, tonight when they played at Terminal 5...she was so amazing...she is a pro now, just forget it, so good...yeah they do fit the summer...she needs to move back to nyc but that will never happen haha...

@n3wfl3sh i know what you mean, and normally i do like that but the lyrics in this song just don't work like past songs. it just sounds like she wasn't trying. just a personal opinion...i'm super excited for the album and to see how this song turns out though!
