I'm a bit late commenting on this one, but I am a coffee nut, so I must throw in my 2c. The best coffee I've been able to find in Calgary, hands down, has been Analog on 17th. It is in a league of its own. Another great choice is Hexagon in Kensington - a gaming cafe with about 1000 board games you can play while you sip. Didn't actually expect this one to be good, but it left all the other better known Kensington coffee shops in its wake.

I enjoy my coffeemaker, I buy Chiapas and Oaxaca's coffee. Hoping some day you can taste mexican coffee. My favorite coffee are the milked coffee in Mexico city, Restaurant Gaby's coffee in Monterrey. Capuccino with irish cream, and traditional american coffee.

Debbie and Henry’s at the farmer’s market on Blackfoot serve Phil & Sebastian as well. I highly recommend their Mexican hot chocolate with a shot of espresso (also Phil & Sebastian). It’s amazing, by far the best coffee I’ve had in Calgary!

This is a great video! I'm in Edmonton, so Calgary is a pretty regular trip. Now I know where some not so hidden gems are :) I make a point of going to The Bro'kin Yolk for brunch and a lavender latte every time I'm in town, highly recommend.

I never realized how pretty Calgary can be on camera. You should check out Italian Centre Shop. I really like their cappuccino.

Had a friend visiting me from the Netherlands and we tried Luke's, great coffee! Also can recommend Good Earth Coffee House in East Village, and a bit harder to find, but totally worth it Calgary Heritage Roasting Company in Inglewood. Love the vibe there!

A friend of mine LOVES Luke's....I've not tried any of the ones you showed, although I've seen a few of them. Wow...Demille has coffee? It used to be just Demille Technical Books!! Nice to see they've added coffee. My go to is usually just drip coffee as milk doesn't work for me!! If I go out for coffee, I really enjoy 2nd Cup (a Canadian chain). Never have enjoyed Starbucks as it's always tasted bitter to me! Thank you SO much Lily, for introducing these independent coffee shops!! PS.McDonald's has excellent coffee!!

Hi Lily. On Sunday we went up to Sought X Found to give it a try as we also like the little hole in the wall coffee places and they were closed !!! Some private function kinda thing , and next thing we know we're having Ramen at the shop on the corner ! It was so good ! Thanks for the recommendations :)

Hi Good Day. Love Coffee. I'm a recently graduated Mechanical Engineer (2018) and I seriously want to move to Canada. Is such a big move difficult concerning getting jobs and such? Really need some advice

Bumpy's is the best. Best muffins in town too. Purple perk is good too. The chains are garbage.
