I'd love to see a series on mixing foundations. I've mixed my foundations for years, initially to color match but then I enjoyed mixing formulas. Dewey, matte, long wearing, primers, etc. I'd love to see the combos you come up with!

@@Jacqueline_R Yes! I have combo skin so a matte formula doesn't work for my entire face and a dewey formula doesn't work for my entire face. Sometimes I want just a touch more coverage in a light coverage foundation. Sometimes the color isn't quite right. So, I become a mixologist!

I just repurchased the wet n wild incognito concealer today for $4.50! I have dark under eyes and a small face- this concealer is at a great price point and targets small areas on the face as needed with great coverage!

How!?!? How do you always read our minds!?! I was just looking at purchasing a new concealer at the drugstore. I have a mini of the tarte shape tape and I love it. Went to add the full size and the gasp I gusped when I saw it was $32. Decided I’d take my little mini to the drugstore with me and just shop around for a color match, but still needed recommendations. Thank you Emily!!!!

I recommend Ulta youthful glow concealer $10 but now on sale for $6 and the full coverage is excellent as well, also on sale. Don’t sleep on the Ulta brand! The crush complexion foundation is phenomenal too.

A very affordable yet beautiful concealer is the Revolution IRL concealer. I was skeptical but floored at how pretty it is. I have even started just dotting it all over my face and using it as foundation. It’s $7 at Target !!! ♥️

I got lucky and was able to get the Loreal Radiant Concealer and the NYX Bare With Me Serum Concealer well under $10 each at CVS with coupons and my Extracare rewards! Definitely helps when on a budget!

For concealer brush my all time fav is the Hourglass concealer brush. Mine has lasted 5 years and still going. It’s the softest I’ve ever found and worth it for the undereyes since that’s the thinnest/ most sensitive skin on the face. Highly recommend!

That Smashbox halo sculpt and glow palette Maybelline has an identical palette in the light (minus the peachy blush.) The formula is as good as the Smashbox too. It’s the master contour palette they launched years ago and I’ve been using it ever since as a must have- great travel palette too!

I can also recommend the Vanicream brand..I use the daily facial moisturizer, which has hyaluronic acid and ceramides..Similar formula to Cerave PM facial lotion which I used for years but I now prefer the Vanicream, its a bit more richness, but not too much for under makeup for me..I have mature normal to dry skin with slightly oily t zone..

I use Vani cream and you're right it does hydrate but I find that I have to use it with another moisturizer drying on my skin, but good for a starter base of layers of moisturization I got the recommendation from Dr Dray the dermatologist here on KZfaq thanks Em for another informative video 💄

Nyx multitask stick is a great formula and really covers, definitely multifunctional, but I am still obsessed with the Physicians Formula Instaready when I need full coverage while still needing it to look like skin under the eye and over blemishes, while staying put. It isn’t drying, isn’t overly hydrating and it’s undetectable on the skin. If you need full coverage and still want it to look as skin like as the Age Rewind but providing more coverage, get the PF Instaready concealer in the small black pump and pink sponge. That Nyx Serum concealer people say is full coverage and I can’t even get more than a light coverage. Everyone I had try it too said it didn’t have enough coverage.

Concealers and I just don't get along. I've tried a lot of them and believe it or not I usually just end up putting a little Maybelline Fit Me pressed powder under my eyes and calling it a day. But recently on a whim I tried the Maybelline Super Stay Longwear concealer. I really like it and it seems to be the best of the bunch for me!

Thanks for sharing the best concealers. Such a big help and I use most of the ones you mentioned as my favorite. I even use the Gerard Cosmetics bare canvas which can be used as a concealer/corrector. Wondered if you have ever tried that? It’s very potent and I use as an eye primer mostly but wow has amazing coverage. You only need a dot. Thanks for sharing. ❤

The Flower Get Real concealer is amazing and it sets without having to powder and lasts as long as you need it on. That’s such a hidden gem. I never liked the illusion concealer or whatever but love the Get Real. The Neutrogena concealers all run closer to $20 than $10. I wish they sold them for $10! Lol PF concealers are really nice but the color range is really really lacking. The formulas though are gorgeous, the old cream stick and the liquid that’s supposed to be a Mac dupe in the really annoying pump package The Nyx Can’t Stop is kinda like the Get Real- another great one! Have that one too as a staple, with the Flower Get Real, Nyx stick, and Age Rewind. Love your recommendations, as always.💕

My absolute love wet n wild’s photofocus concealer. It’s $3.98 and i reach for it everyday. It is harder to find but when I do I buy as many as I can. I use it as concealer and even to clean up my eyebrows with it too.

Yes, I use it as eye cream after my moisturizer and before sunscreen. Then I go on with primer (sometimes), then foundation/BB cream and then concealer!

When my Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer was empty (which means I really liked it), I thought I'd try the much hyped Catrice True Skin Full Coverage Concealer. I will definitely go back to the Elf soon for the smoother coverage and may not use the Catrice, as it just isn't as good for me. The Maybelline was a hard NO for me, as the color oxidized on me.

Hi Emily great video! I bought the NYX pro fix stick based on your recommendation and I love it, I do find that it creases under my eyes at the end of the day. Does that happen to you? I always try to keep my skin moisturized before applying makeup.

The Neutrogena radiant concealer is like $16 most places. The colors are really weird but the formula is alright. I think there’s a lot of concealers like that one. Letting the concealers set some before blending it out helps keep the coverage a lot more, but especially with these lighter coverage concealers like the Neutrogena.

Heyy Emily, hear me out. I know you tried to try the concealer from Believe Beauty from Dollar General. I know the doe foot broke off. But pick one up again, and if it breaks off again, just use some tweezers to pull the rubber stopper out of the tube and give it another shot using just the wand. I know that's a lot of work for a cheap concealer when I'm sure you have a million other ones. But I reeeeally think it's a great formula and amount of coverage for the price point and DEFINITELY worth a shot; even if the applicator is a little faulty.

I love the Neutrogena cream concealer! I dont think it’s talked about enough. I much prefer it to Maybelline Fit Me, great for everyday (medium) coverage.

I used to love the Age Rewind but either it changed or I did because the last ones I bought were runny on my skin and didn't cover anything. Previous to that it was absolutely no effort and I could even wear it without foundation it blended to my skin that well.

I would love to see a video on light coverage drug store skin tints or something. Im a mom of 6 and dont have much time but whenever i wear foundation i feel like its just too much. I just want to even out my skin with the most natural look possible.. pppllleeeeaaassseeee!!

I also use the Persona eye pencil, and my best sharpener so far has been from Maybelline. I bought it while visiting family for the holidays and was in dire need of a sharpener. I was shocked at how good it works! I already had the Essence sharpener with me, but it started shredding the pencil instead of sharpening. I was able to run to the drugstore just in time before closing and got the Maybelline on a whim. I'm still using it 3 months later. Best purchase ever.

Maybelline age rewind is my favorite concealer, it's light weight and light coverage just what I want. Also Maybelline Fit Me concealer is nice too. Tarte shapetape is to thick and heavy, and it contains fragrance which I don't like.
