Dude I used the same button just like you, the shooting, lob, tackle and sliding tackle, been using it since fifa07,y friends used to say that I might be the only one who use it like that but thanks to you and some other guys from the comment section who used the same custom button just like me, tbh it's more easy to operate as our thumb is in the default position to the shoot button ie the square button

Using ball relative makes more sense imo because it's like using a clock, the reference point (ball) is in the center of the clock regardless of where you are on the pitch. With player relative the reference point (player) can be anywhere within the area of the clock AND the reference point changes on the fly. Because ball relative the reference point never changes, this actually allows for muscle memory to play a role which makes it more consistent and it introduces another avenue for a difference of skill to be displayed. I think it's worth looking at.

Great vid as always. You spoke about man marking, how does that work and how does it select the man to mark. Because ideally I’ve been thinking of man marking Adama, Kent, James with my wingbacks.

You have pretty much the same controls as I have except I use circle (PS4) for shooting/standing tackle :p

Just subbed... watch alot of your content and this is legit sub worthy. 100 per cent need to drop an in deptg tutorial on ball relative positioning. I've just switched and can see the benefits but will take some getting used to and will no doubt concede a few dodgy goals in the adjustment period. Muscle memory is hard to break. Ive always found player relative inconsistent in terms of not switching to where i aim but already with ball relative it generally is more responsive. Great content.

I'm not elite in WL but I find that the analog sprint really helps for some situations like when I'm through on goal and if I take another touch while sprinting I'll be to close to the goalkeeper but I can do a half-sprint touch which will take me to the optimum position to shoot. Would appreciate it if you replied because now I'm not sure to have it on or off
