Best Country to Bank Offshore and Where to Incorporate

Choosing a place where you'll set up your company's offshore bank account and the place where you'll incorporate that company depends on a lot of factors and circumstances - what kind of business you're in, what is your minimum deposit, what citizenship do you own?
Also, these two places don't necessarily have to be the same, diversification is always better.
When it comes to opening a bank account, you should go for the traditional wealth hubs, such as Singapore, Switzerland, and Lichtenstein because of the stability, and if you can't get in there, try somewhere in the middle - British Virgin Islands.
As for the incorporation, you can even go lower class there - Belize, Marshall Islands, Samoa, etc.
But remember: Total freedom and anonymity is not always the best option in the offshore world.

I like the idea of having the parent company holding real estate in a EU jurisdiction and have the short term capital gains income in a Vanuatu wholly owned subsidiary.

Great content. I have a topic request: Can you please do a video on the practicalities of how the new economic substance laws effect people in relation to setting up and operating offshore companies? For example you mentioned that you set up BVI companies frequently. Maybe you could therefore use BVI as a working example: Some suggested questions: - Do the people who want to set up these companies in the BVI need to have at least one employee or more one the ground there? - Plus do they need designated office space footage per company set up and not just a brass plate registered address at a local accountants / solicitor? If someone needs to have staff and a real office there then it lessens the attractiveness of such locations especially if there is absolutely no need from a purely business requirement to have an employees and a physical office in place at that location. I feel this issue is very important and fundamental to the whole nomad concept. Great work as always. Kind regards Ross

Hi Andrew, I just purchased your book off Amazon and look forward to learning more. I am planning on creating a 'holding' company to hold foreign real estate in possibly Belize and / or some other place where property won't be too expensive. It's not an offshore account at all, but establishing full time residence in Puerto Rico can result in some tax savings, depending on where your income comes from. I just thought I would answer b/c I live there for a good part of the year and know something (not much!) about this.

Where would you open a completely digital business ecommerce for not resident ? In Uk is very cheap to start but with Brexit I don't know, in EE UU could be an option , I live in Spain and here they ask you €3000 deposit plus €400 to open the company plus €300 per month as self employed , I think is too much for a start up .....
