The Machine-Gun Duct Tape has always been one of my favorites from the live streams.

Just a quick note for those who have not caught on ....this is a very poorly designed press. Extremely "light duty". It is nowhere near any "Strongest Hydraulic Press Moment" ....but it is a sensational video capturing failures with high speed cameras. The entire frame of this press is flexing under the lightest of loads. This is only generating a lot of "stored energy" ....which is what the "explosions" are all about at the end of every test. A proper "compression testing" machine does not "flex" like this. The best machines do not flex. These machines measure everything up to the point of failure with no "stored energy" in the frame. Literally every one of these tests in this video would be less than "sensational" when put on a proper compressions testing machine. For those that have never seen a compression tester function, there are very few "explosions". The explosion at 5:06 clearly shows the flexible plates bouncing into the air. That's stored energy ....and a very light-duty structure. If you want to see a compression tester, look up Tinius Olsen, or Baldwin, or Forney. They have machines of varying tonnage capacities .....well beyond this small machine. . .

The amount of energy being stored in the lower half of the press is amazing. It's amazing seeing the tensile (tension?) strength of an item reach its molecular limit and fail to hold together.

oh man, I always expect the jump scare when something explodes, but seeing how some things sheer (like the brass piece with the glass shattering noise) kinda proves that you have to prepare for even the possibility of something breaking in a way that causes critical damage. This channel and the "will it blend" channel have this interesting fascination about how strong things actually are, and the survivability of certain things made from certain materials.

Out of all the “crushes” you have done over the years, my absolute favorite is the multiple decks of playing cards and the single slicer blade. In slo-mo, 15-20 seconds straight of cards being cut and flying out everywhere! It was beautiful!

It’s amazing how things you wouldn’t think could/would explode just do under enough pressure, I saw on another hydraulic press channel that yarn will explode too

0:53 glass ball is very impressive! that;s with the pressure being applied to only two small focal points. Imagine how much pressure this ball can take before imploding if you apply pressure equally on all over the surface of the sphere!

Please Crush a Bologna Bottle. They are similar to Prince Rupert Drops and better made to withstand external forces. You can drive a railroad spike into a 4x4 without damaging the bottle. When you put a crystal inSide the bottle it falls apart easily.
