Күн бұрынPlaying the Caro-Kann feels natural, simple and easy compared to many different defenses. I love the opening and have been playing it since I started playing chess. Some games just go smoothly and white has no chance of stopping a c6 player.

Damn... I accidentally saw the result when looking at their previous game at lichess. The one with the white queen bumbling around c1,b2,c2. Whatta game. Love when Stjepan overestimates his position, cos it's more memorable and educating when its funny :)

42:55 I think what the computer is trying to tell us is that the prophylactic is unnecessary. You could always play a6 in response to it

I don’t know if it’s the best but it’s definitely the one I play against E4. It automatically takes away the Italian and Ruy Lopez and there’s only like 3 main lines. Obviously there’s more than three, but 90% of the time I’m seeing either of the exchange, the advance, or the classical with 3. Nc3. I did see the Breyer variation in a lichess tourney the other day. That was fun.

ig there are less players on lichess that is why more probability of getting paired with the same person especially at higher ratings

Yeah i think so too sometimes i play a horrible game and put it on lichess to check the accuracy and its 90 somthing , lichess is waaaay to generous

It’s a chess game. lol. It’s not stalking. Developing a rivalry encourages healthy competition. Having a recurring opponent with skills close to your own gives you someone to strive against. Reference: every story, personal anecdote, piece of media, and video game about every competitive sport ever since the beginning of competitive sports.
