@@MyNameIsZelo okay was able to watch the entire video. As a hunter main who uses dragons shadow 90% of the time, that 3rd look really hit me. It’s a difficult piece so your being able to execute fashion on a functional piece is great. The 4th piece is my favorite. I’d like names for the outfits to be able to be submitted for the next tournament. What would you call yours?

The phoenix protocol ornament is definitely one of the best in the game also I think someone called it star fire instead of Phoenix.

I hated seeing the hunter in the full 30th anniversary set... I was supersized to see fewer warlocks using the trials chest that I love

Loved all the sets, though I will say for all the guff hunters get for only using white or black, titans sure love that one chest with the fur around the collar. You might have gotten this feedback elsewhere, but I think there should be a standardization for the entry pictures if you do something like this again (cash prize or otherwise). I think Vegahpunk deserves credit for creating an ensemble aesthetic with the ghost shell, emblem, sparrow, weapon, etc., but rounds 2 and 4 from them seemed like they won purely for the "wow factor" of things coalescing (Round 2 & 4 look relatively plain compared to things like the Babushka Warlock). I appreciated when people put in screenshots showcasing shaders and armor pieces used - showing their work and letting it speak for itself. Again, I believe Vegahpunk's victory is well earned (I think people were underestimating the Round 3 look), but if you do this in the future, it would make for an even playing field if you require entrants to take screenshots on the same menu. At least that way you could feasibly -dock- points if people don't have their ghost match their guardian, if you opt for the Vegahpunk approach. I like how Shadow_Hunter344's red warlock won in Round 1 while using -five- distinct shaders. That's an incredible display of skill.

Yeah thats something I look for as well is did they just slap the same shader or ornament set on for the entire guardian or is there varying shaders and ornaments that go well together and create something entirely new. Definitely dont think they took enough notice to specific ornaments or what shaders were being used intentionally

My personal fashion challenge is to make sets using all pieces from different armour sets and multiple shaders. It would have been good if all the images here were taken on the appearance customisation page so you could see what everyone was using but this was good fun.

Yeah I feel like you should at least get some more credit if you bothered to mix and match your stuff. Using a full set of one shader and/or multiple pieces (or an entire set) of an ornament set is just lazy

Facts. You're just using a full set that was designed to work together by a member of the Bungie art team. It's too easy. Mix n match with different pieces and shaders takes more effort and it's original. Also if you're running full Metro Shift or Amethyst Veil you should be immediately eliminated. It's as basic as using that Anubis Trials Warlock helmet.

@@TheSwayzeTrain 100%. that round with the two warlocks with one running crown and the dreaming spectrum shader, and the other running sunbracers and all black and white, it just kinda makes me sigh because both of those could've had so much variety in their shaders - theres so many purple shaders crown guy could've used, and the dude running sunbracers couldve ran any of the like 20 black and white shaders. the crown guy especially, like dreaming spectrum is one of the few shaders ill give a pass to running on everything if youre taking advantage of the bone coloring, but he wasnt, literally only the boots had a bit of the bone coloring and it was the weakest part of the set. couldve swapped out bergusia night on the chestpiece and it wouldve looked identical. there were some banger submissions in this, and there were definitely some ones in here that looked really good even with the same shaders on a bunch of pieces, but yeah i definitely felt there were some really lazy sets thrown in here that either werent well thought out or were just thrown in because they didnt have a 4th set.

There wasn’t that much same set, more same shader which I don’t think is a big deal, but I definitely think that using different shaders and ornaments should net more points since that’s a clear showcase of effort applied, I want to see that someone is doing their best with what they’ve got

@@assertingfurno7457 to me it shows worse fashion sense and an obsession with being 'different' over actually looking good usually. Sometimes the best solution really is just using some matching parts. I think judging purely by how it looks is fair, however, any that are LITERALLY 100% same set AND same shader at the same time should be booted. That's pinnacle lazy fashion

May be late, but this looked awesome! Definitely needs to set everyone to pose at the bottom screen like Vega used as a template for everyone. Simple screenshot and it’s all good. Overall cohesion should be accounted for as a bonus, but not be the end all for wether or not a design win or looses.

I found a way to make dragons shadow work with my setup, omnioculus happens to fit too. I'm currently going more purple on the armor atm.

18:32 I WISH that was the ornament for starfire protocol. I would actually use it on my warlock. The ornament is for PHOENIX protocol. Which is WAY too cool lookin for an exotic i have practically no use for.
