Fantastic review! The details on this statue (particularly the mouth) are fantastic. The details of the base and the crashed plane from the film are amazing as well. Wish this Statue could fit anywhere I would put it!

Congrats on getting your hands on this! While it’s definitely one of my favorites I’ll still pick the Mosasaurus since it’s so majestic and feels like a true art sculpture. And on the size, in JP3 the Spinosaurus fights a male Rex while the JP Rex is female therefore a bit smaller. Great video!

Awesome piece. The T rex is still my favourite just because when i was a kid T rex was the most badass dinosaur. I think you added to the wet effect at the beginning of the video lol. That new smaller scale T rex from the first movie looks great and for any jurassic park fan would probably be a quintessential piece.

I missed the review on this one just catching it now. I think all these Jurassic Park and Jurassic World statues look great and it's awesome that you're able to get a lot of them and have them all together. The first movie will always be the Highlight for me seeing that in the theater as a kid of dinosaurs coming to life. T-Rex was the badass and I always remember the Raptors from the very beginning scene of the guy getting Dragged In and the other guy saying shoot her LOL

I finally got my Spino statue a couple months ago. The detail is amazing. I got the Indominus Rex last month & it too is an amazing piece. I pre ordered the Fallen Kingdom T. rex & can wait for the Lost World diorama. They teased it 5 months ago but I haven’t seen anything on the Prime 1 website.

I really like the red color on the top of the Spinosaurus. I know it's probably a bad movie effect like you said MR X, but it really draws your attention. The Spinosaurus looks good here.

Just ordered this one at near retail price! Super excited to get it. One note though the rotunda P1 is releasing is labeled "non scale" did you see it listed as 1/15 somewhere?

Nice statue! I'm really a Trex fan so the Spinosaurus was never my favorite :D But you're right, prime 1 is getting better an better. The 1/6 velociraptor arrived two weeks ago and is also very awesome!

The size issue is definitely odd for prime one. But minus some of the other stuff it looks phenomenal. The T-Rex is still my favorite. But I do wish I collected the whole prime one Jurassic Park line like yourself

Ever since seeing Jurassic Park 3 in the theater as a kid, I have always hated the spinosaurus. He killed my favorite dinosaur, the t-rex, and I've never forgave him for it, even 25 years later. But, that being said, this statue is pretty awesome.

I would love to own any of the Jurassic pieces, but I am torn now between this Spinosaur & the Mosasaur, this is fenomainal work by Prime One. The Raptor caller was a big part at the end of this movie, I guess that is why it is in there.🤔 Cheers 👍🏻🍻

The T.Rex that fought the Spinosaurus in the movie was a young T.Rex. Your brown Rex is full grown.

Spinosaurus was a real dinosaur. However, current paleontology suggests it was mostly a water dwelling dinosaur that fed on fish, rather than what was portrayed in the movie 👍🏻

The dinosaurs in the movies are clones. Their dinosaur dna was not complete so Ingen filled the dna gaps with frog dna (and other animals) so that's why the dinosaurs in the movies are not that scientifically accurate.

I love the details on the base - it tells the story, and adds more dimension to it, especially compared to say, the Triceratops or T-Rex. Great piece - especially considering the film it's from is pretty awful. Doesn't top the Mosasaurus (SP?) for me though. That is one of the most eye catching pieces I've ever seen - the water effect alone on that one. It's uniquely eye-catching, in my opinion.

Wish they would do medieval warriors, and historical figures like Genghis Khan, maybe modern animals, such a wasted industry, that only focusses on fiction.
