Bet the metal diffs for a Redcat Everest 16 fit those axle housings. Look to be the same basic axles as the RGT Bowler which takes the same diff. RGT has been coming out with some real competitive trucks. If they can keep up with parts and upgrades they will sell a lot of crawlers.

Anyone know if Kev's reviewed/played with the WPL C24 or C14 on the channel. I've ordered the kit version of the C24 and also ordered the upgraded metal axles, links, and drive shafts, as well as the 370 motor with 2 speed gearbox. I was just wondering what to expect and if I should go ahead and order any other upgrades. Thanks.

Hey, kevin! I bought this one on your recommendation and frickin' love it! I'm new to the rc and crawler scene and really happy with this truck as-is, but i'm seriously looking into tire upgrades. Specifically interco super swamper tsl thornbird z-t0203-rc4wd tires. They're affordable, but as a newbie i don't know what size and whether the tires/wheels/axles are even compatible. I don't mind a bit of tabletop surgery, but i don't want to kill the patient either. Can i make this work, even without your degree in medicine?

Wow, fast reply! Yeah, the hassles and joys of being a newbie! The onslaught of rc terminology and science is all unintelligible at this point. The sizes, the LiPo and NiMH batteries and chargers electronics and math, can make you just wanna put it back in the box and give it to your 15 year old nephew! But, i'll plow thru, maybe with some help online. Local north Seattle shops and blogs have all pretty much shut down during the plague, so finding a mentor has been unworkable. Anyway, some rc101 courses on vehicles, batteries, minor surgery, and beginner-level mods would be really appreciated. I'm betting the first things most would start dabbling with would be tires, batteries, and more robust parts upgrades, all within a beginner's budget and skill level. Right now i just wanna put those well-reviewed tires on. In one of your other vids, i learned from an off-hand conversation that LiPos provided better power than NiMHs. Who knew? They don't teach us that in grade school...

That's so funny that you say that you were going to say that it's dirt cheap but some people complain when this one is actually dirt cheap usually you say it's dirt cheap I click on it it's between two and $300 this time it is actually dirt cheap thank you I appreciate it I will probably buy this one just bought the axial SXC 24

Kev any ideas about this vs the 1/18 scale FTX Outback Mini X? That's only £80 but the RGT 1/16 one is about £100. Can get the £80 from L.H.S. with box intact! Not much info on the 1/18 about. I'm surprised you don't get bored of the crawlers as you can't launch them at speed from the skatepark!
