Nice work and yes to Clake!! I have a 22 FE501 and the best mods I made were a tool steel strip leading from case guard to linkage low point for seamless log transition. 2 is a full cross country tool kit mounted in the big gap on top of gearbox. Kit goes inside a big truck radiator hose cut, riveted and folded to fit perfectly...low centre of gravity n no tools on my body. Come ride southern QLD mate. Cheers

Thanks for sharing. It's always cool to see what other TPI riders have done to their bike. I have just one of those Baja Designs S2 Pro lights on my chainsaw mount and it's super bright!

Team Clake! Best upgrade there is, made from solid billet and all parts are replaceable unlike the stock set up. And yes they are expensive but once you brake 1 of the stock set ups and have to replace the entire thing because of the cast aluminum they use that’s fragile AF. You are worlds ahead having the Clake!

Does that license plate holder get in your way when hard enduro on gnarly hills? I tend to ride off the rear of my bike, lots of pivot maneuvers, etc. and feel like that would get caught in my crotch. I have one that I ordered but I just keep thinking it will get caught up on my inner legs. Your bike looks great. Put a plastic Accarbis front disk guard, it will save your disk one day. I hit mine and bent it good, ruined my ride that day. As for clutch, I would love to check out that system you have. I went with a 9MM clutch and ARC levers, it's amazing and easy one finger pull all day long. I like your set up though. Your vids are really good, love watching those woodsy rainy trail rides. I'm in the high mountains, lots of cliffs and exposure, rocks, washout type trails. Anyway, great bike set up, very functional and the bike sounds awesome in your vids. Take care.

Plate holder hasn’t bothered me yet - I do slide off the back and do pivots often, never been an issue. 👍

Would you consider a review and explanation of the John Ross tune? Very interested and can't seem to find much other than his own web info. Thanks, keep the good content coming!

It’s worth giving him a call. It’s a reflash similar to other options out there - he optimizes fuel and ignition maps, and recommends using the stock head but with a slightly thinner base gasket. He emphasizes smoothness and usability of the power. I wish I had done it on day-1.

All are great tips but I especially liked the Molle Admin Pouch. I got one too after seeing this video and it's perfect in terms of size, function, and price. I also made my own front tugger strap but I sewed mine with outdoor upholstery thread. Is your rear strap also home made? Either way, how is it attached? I made my own for previous bikes and just ran the side seat bolts through them to secure them to the bike. That isn't possible now with my 2023 TE150i so it would be nice to know how yours is mounted so that I can do the same for my bike. Great channel; thanks!

Seems like you can’t get Michelin Xtreme enduro tires anywhere for years. When you can they’re over $200. Where are you getting them from, I’d like to try some. I normally run a 140 kenda Gnarly rear with goldentyre fatty in the front with tubliss in both. Lots of rocks and roots in PA

A shipment just came in to the us. Parts unlimited has them now. Seems like all the race teams buy them up by the truckload at the beginning of each season, and the rest of us have to wait for the next production run. So far I like it a lot, but even at $180 it’s pretty spendy. If IRC ever releases the JX8 in a 120 that they keep teasing, I’ll try that.

@@stevenllewellyn8906 The JX8 measures a true 128mm wide, so you can ignore the number stamped on the sidewall. It performs better than pretty much anything else in its price range. But a wider version would still be sweet.
