Everyone's talking about the wheels going upward, but what I'd like to know is how a window is still intact AND functional with a plank of wood going through it 1:08
@NotAJollyPotato8 жыл бұрын
If you look closely after it passes through, you can see a small gap. It is two seperate planks
@HaydenMadeEm8 жыл бұрын
+Dylan Le Lerre Hmm not sure, kind of looks like the cable is running over the wood

+HaydenMadeEm no it's a gap in the wood you even see the object fall down it
@TheNdoki8 жыл бұрын
+HaydenMadeEm Yeah, 1:14 you can clearly see a line going through the wood, indicating there's a space. Also I'm pretty sure I see the cylinder drop slightly as it passes over the space, but I'm not going through a frame by frame view of the video just to prove something that can so easily be explained already. I mean even at 1:11 you can clearly see both sides of the wood being held up seperately.

This is actually real, that effect with tires can be reproduced (but you wouldn't t know that since you are like 10 and its high school physics). Also do research, the creator of Honda was also surprised to find out it was real.

+Pavel Král I think the tire has a weight at the top that pushes down, and thus rolls the tire forward and hence up the hill. I do agree though that it looks awful suspicious how the tire rolls. Would be an interesting experiment to try at home.

it's all about inertia and newtons motion law law. An object remains at rest unless acted up, by an external force, the first tire, which hits the second one and then the second one stops since the kinetic force is transferred, and if there was a wight in a certain point, they could each go until they hit the other tire, then stop

@grogurt55399 жыл бұрын
Adam Gawlowski Stop pretending like you are a man of science. Newton's laws of motion are all bull shit anyways. It's all just lies. Not one of his laws of motion are true. You would be silly to think an object at rest remains at rest unless acted upon. Come on now.. Not falling for it..
@star_skaterr84019 жыл бұрын
Yeah but tires can't roll uphill besides Newtons inertia thing is kinda wrong because an object that is in motion might not stay in motion in object that is and rest well if something gives it a little play it might not stay with us but we don't know if it's true or not

The Tires may appear uniform and the weight homogenously distributed. They are not. They have added weight at the top, on the inside, which made them Top Heavy and unstable. Now they can be balanced. But any disturbance and Gravity adds the Energy for the rotational momentum. It is a good illusion...and quite real. It is amazing what Engineers can do. That was the underlying message of the commercial which was directed toward Physicists and Engineers. Look up Rube Goldberg on the Internet. That is what that was.

"There are no computer graphics or digital tricks in the film. Everything you see really happened in real time exactly as you see it. The film took 606 takes. On the first 605 takes, something, usually very minor, didn't work. They would then have to set the whole thing up again. The crew spent weeks shooting night and day. The film cost six million dollars and took three months to complete including a full engineering of the sequence."

It suddenly turned from a casual thing to a Honda advertisement. How shocking.
