Sir Redbyrd, how do you think the introduction of the new Artifact ice gauntlet will change this build? I'm not sure, given the rapier is the focus of this builds damage. Replacing it with a well rolled legendary, in conjunction with the new ice gauntlet artifact, will this offset the loss from the artifact rapier? I think not. Do you see any builds coming out, from a high PVE DPS perspective, which utilize the new artifact ice gauntlet?

I think not as well. The double weapon perk plus the extra damage to bleeding targets and its going to be hard to beat the finisher

why all the ice damage is that just a placeholder pretty much? like you'd switch to other elements when you need them or always run ice?

What if you leave the bleeds? Especially on bosses? I run tondo, flurry and evade and can spam flurry after 2 hits with evade. Have you tried the dmg over time with this if you leave bleeds stacks? And with flurry, you have grit so you can self heal and just stay flurry spam.

go to a dummy and use FnF with 3 bleeds on to get an answer yourself

This used to be the best way to run the build, but with finisher and the buffs to FNF, this build is better

are you going with that split because of magnify? or is that the best damage from your testing?

I tried 300 200 and it didnt change the Rapier much 250 INT also scales the IG damage AND gives you increased bleed duration

do you not need the extra bleed duration from the ring to get max damage? or is capped because of the attribute in intelligence?

the perk is called blood letting for 32% increased duration of bleeds. I don't know if this puts you above the cap but wouldn't extending the bleed durations create more damage when you consume the bleeds?

This is worth testing for sure. With the buff to Ice damage on the ring i went with the direct increase but might be worth it

Tumblers would be fine to run in the boot slot if you dont have the recommended perks.

Think my rapier / spear bleed is up to 1.3k per sec bleed for about 10 secs

@@liljackson6461 mainly a pve player. Starting my PvP build. Either gonna go rapier/ spear or spear/ s-s. Love the Finisher, melee light weight builds. Skewer on the weapon, bleeding sweet and proferate on the gear. Leeching flurry on my gear helps get me out of jams.

All ice is higher damage, same build but 400 intelligence 25 dex 25 str… your ice spikes will be up non-stop criting for 7k dmg.. normal ice attack hits for 4k

Also nimble coat with extra 8% refresh or attuned leather pants are both better options
