I didn't consider getting an engine dress up kit until I started going to shows and lifting my hood. I think the hard part when you spend money on nuts, bolts, screws and washers is that no one really sees your engine bay.
With that being said, the factory hardware just looks so plain and ugly. Not to mention I had nuts and bolts de-coloring which really made the engine bay look dull and not well kept.
Anyways, I decided I really wanted to take things up a notch and clean up my engine bay and buy the best engine dress up kit on the market. I'm still on the hunt for a nice oil fill cap and a few other pieces, but so far this hardware kit was well worth the cost to dress up my nine bay.
