Best ever Big Dippers/Dipping on large canvas was a challenge but so worth it

Acrylic pouring: Fluid art
Paints used today are Mont marte poster paints
My pouring medium used for my current work is a pre mix of 70% “Mont marte craft glue and 30% warm water, (most pva glues can be made up with same ratios to make a pouring medium), I add my pouring medium to my paint slowly until I achieve the consistency of pouring cream, approximately 50/50 more pm if needed.
My paint brands mostly used are the Mont marte studio acrylics, dimensions, or pouring paints, Boom Gel stain.
When iv mixed my paints I add 2-4 drops maximum of Helmar silicone, also Australian made, I stir in well.
I always like to mix up my paints and add silicone the day before I’m going to paint, and cover with a damp cloth, as I have found I have much better results.

Wow, I love this one...or should a say a twofer. Colors are amazing. And then on top of it all, you are blessed with a supportive, positive husband! I am also blessed with a wonderfully supportive, uplifting husband. Life is good...so much to be thankful for. I've been binge watching all your videos because I've been ill...I'm just itching to get pouring again...I've now four of your painting I'm going to try my hand at😁. Thank you. P.S. your chevron pattern really is the best way to go, it gives me the best results also.

Another missed video, I came across, and I think the best part of this painting, was listening to you and John, converse with each other!! It warmed my heart, to hear you share your love with each other ☺ and to listen to John, have such confidence in your artistic abilities. I am praying that you are nowhere near the wildfires that continue to ravage your country. I am also praying that the wildfires are contained quickly and that everyone in your country and all those you know and love are staying safe through all of this. I have to say I was watching your video, no knowing what to expect, and the paint you added the more I was thinking what an ugly mess! Ok, I’ll admit it, I’m an art snob! Gilly’s videos were not the first I saw using acrylics and pouring. The initial reaction: not art, anyone can do that. Well, then I found this channel and everything I had been thinking, snobbish thoughts, had to be tossed out! Oh my word, watching Gilly work is such a joy. And humbling, to be able to look at the canvas and know what that precise touch is that will make it memorable, is art, creativity, talent, and an eye for design that is very rare. Every time I find a video, I flag it for “watch later,” even though I can’t resist watching some of it right away. Gilly, your eye for color, design (ex: negative space,) and balance is just breathtaking. Don’t know that I’ll ever attempt this medium, but I have, and still am, learning so much from you. What joy your art has in it, and life. Besides, listening to your talks is so much fun, love hearing you talk to the pups and telling us about the outdoor sounds we hear. Blessings to you and yours at this season.

Just found your work after following Julie Pouring your heart out- and really enjoy your dips. You can avoid the bald spots by using a credit card and rubbing the edge of it all across the back of your top canvas.

So incredibly beautiful Gilly!!! My friend and I happened upon your videos the other day while looking for pour options in order to make beautiful last minute gifts for my adult children for our late holiday celebrations, and I have to tell you ... we haven’t been getting any sleep due to the marathon binging of your channel. 😂 This chevron double whammy is my project for this morning and I am so excited to get started!!! Your recipe for a pouring medium is the best one I’ve come across in some time, and trust me, in the past 2.5 years of pour painting, I have tried them all! Keep up the fantastic work!! I have become inspired once again to put paint to canvas and have churned out at least ten lovely projects in the past three days due to you!!! 😂❤️😂
