I've always thought that people give Hogan too much for his backstage politics you have to remember the wrestling landscape when he was the main man that's how things worked back then everybody was always trying to take your spot nobody ever wanted to put anybody else over and the champion always needed to worry about somebody shooting on them in the ring when you come up in that atmosphere you can't expect a person to just completely change their process nobody ever gives Austin any crap and it's pretty well known that he never wanted to put anyone over he quit the company when they asked him to put Brock over it's true that some of his selfish decisions in WCW hurt the company but I still think that people make way too much of it when it comes to him and don't take into account the fact that everyone from his era acted the same way that's just my opinion

Yeah I also love how he set 2 tables up at ringside when it refuses to allow you to pick up/set up tables/ladders when your close to furnisher or other weapons. STAGED!

I think my favorite part of this video is how all of these are done at different parts of the arena, like some are just on the stage and some are off the side of the stage on the floor, and then some are just in the ring. Makes it very fun to watch

The last wrestling game I played was smackdown vs raw 2010. The last one I tried to get into came out in 17. And the next time I play one, will be when they bring the wwf/wwe and wcw together to form one video game.

Anyone else think the Samoan Spike was a dud of a finisher? Especially for a guy the size of Umaga? I feel like he should have some kind of a high impact power move. Some variation of a Powerbomb or a Spine Buster or another move along those lines

Some of the high risk moves should cause more damage to the person doing them. Moves from the top of a ladder all the way out of the ring and they just spring back up moments later lol

AKI & Yukes made the good ones For n64, Ps1, Ps2, etc. THQ simply served as a publisher (not developer). The new AEW game is developed by Yukes. The director from No Mercy was brought into the fold too to ensure that the AEW game turns out good. We'll see! They had the best of intentions & the talent to do it. I just hope the AEW feels more like a sequel to those AKI/THQ n64 games & not a step backwards or a step in the wrong direction. Most fans just want a continuation of that series with better physics, audio, features, etc. I can't wait. I hope we get to see cage matches & backstage areas.

God I would love to play these games again but I just can’t get used to the button configuration. I know I’m dating myself but I wish they would go back to smackdown type control. Up and circle does the exact same thing when they are normal, then different when groggy.

They need to only have Curb Stomp RKO as a reversal if you have a finisher with marking out commentary like they used to. Now it's a generic reversal and means absolutely nothing.

Doing moves off ladders thru tables should deplete both players stamina to zero & they should both stay down longer, & you should remain down extra long aslong as you don't press any buttons. To sell the moves better
