What is the loudest and best sounding exhaust for a 5.9 cummins? The 3" or 4" straight pipe? The 5 inch straight? Cat or miter stacks? In this video there are many examples of each.

I think the 4” turbo back straight pipe sounds the best with a 5” tip that’s what I have and I think it sounds the best

I have a 01 with a 4" Straight pipe and a Edge Comp... When I put it on Level 5 and Stand on it.....It Sounds GREAT

Best set up is a 5in turbo back axle dump straight pipe with a 8in tip 🚜💨

I'm going to have to agree with you that is exactly what I'm running and it's very distinctive I have the juice with attitude also and my people can her me coming from across town lol. Some love it and most hate it

4” with a 6” tip sounds throaty!! I currently have a 5” straight. Had to throw on a resonator because the drone was so bad

I have the MBRP straight pipe it's great except when I tow most of the time. Needs a resonator to take a little bark out at 2300 to 2500 rpms to much in cab drone. Pulling a trailer. Or loaded truck. Just like my old Kenworth.

4” straight all the way. Axle dump with no tip. Keeps it quiet inside the cab.

4” with resonator and 6” tip. Sounds the best performs the best. Ya’ll need some back pressure with them stacks boy.

Anything over a 4 inch is distorted but I also keep hearing in the cab isnt very pleasant with 5 inch and up I'm going to go with 4" to 6" tip
