This was so helpful thank you. I just got diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer 2 weeks ago. I started chemo and it’s really flushing me out of color and I’ll also lose my hair very soon. Is makeup is going to be my go to happy place and also a thing that will help me feel better about myself. So I’m so excited to start this makeup journey! I’m not a makeup girl at all! I only do mascara and eyeliner tats it! Lol. So wish me luck

More videos like this ... great teacher. Eyeliner is all about practice and patience. I like tightline cake eye liner and using eyeshadows as liners as well.

Thank you for the video. I never knew you could place it on your top of the lash eyeliner. This way my eyes wont look so heavy. I have eyes like youself. I like the Urban decay the 24/7 glide on eye pencil. And I started with the eye pod and it dries out too fast.

Great video!!!! Please more information on eyeliners. I just saw where someone asked about eyeliner for the waterline if you wear contacts, and I am definitely going to try that bc I wear contacts and I can't ever get mine to stay in the waterline. Thanks for sharing. But my eyes are hooded and I really can't get my eyeliner to show up after I put my eyeshadow on please can you help me out with this? Thanks for sharing. Thank you for sharing the best on the market and showing tips how to use each suggested liner. I love super deep ink black gel liners. I truly loved the UD Super-Saturated Ultra Intense Waterproof Cream Eyeliner. This is an ultimate staple, and sad they discontinued. KVD Tattoo Eyeliner has been a staple as well. I love the experiment to find my faves and try lots of them. I would love to hear your favorite and best eyeshadows for pigmentation and long wear to use for lining the eyes.

Hi Myeisha. I also use pencil liner and liquid liner. I have allergies 24/7 and my left eye outer corner melts the liner so I use Bareminerals long wearing liner or Sephora long wearing. Both liners stay on all day.

What do you recommend for people with watery eyes due to allergies and also oily lids? I find that all the liners I’ve tried smudges by mid day and I look like I have raccoon eyes. Thank yiu

We'd recommend long-wearing waterproof liners. If you find pen-style liquid liners aren't working for you, gel pot liners that are waterproof would be your best bet.

A waterproof kohl liner pencil or gel liner in a pot would be your best bet.

Very informative, helpful video but I’m confused…I really didn’t understand why you wouldn’t want waterproof eyeliner in the waterline?? Wouldn’t it be better because it wouldn’t wash away from the water of your eyes? I think Myiesha said it’s better to use kajal but I’d love if someone could explain!! Thanks! ❤️🖤❤️🖤

She said not to use liquid liner in the water line, because it will smudge. Gel or kohl pencils or pot liners are best for the water line. Then, you can go over that with a liquid liner or even a shadow to do a wing or smudge it out. Hope that was helpful. 😉
