@@adampyro this is from HoustonTX.gov The use of fireworks are not only illegal in the City and parts of the County but they are also are very dangerous. It is illegal to discharge fireworks the City of Houston. A Texas House Bill allows for the transportation of fireworks, however there are restrictions including where the fireworks are located inside the vehicle and if they are opened or unopened. im just sayin what im seeing. If people are poppin off its cause they dont care and can probably afford to get away with it.

​@louisle4886 about 65% of the county is unincorporated, so you're allowed to light fireworks. It's only inside Houston city limits. Not to mention, no one who lives in the city limits cares. Generally they do nothing unless you're downtown or in certain neighborhoods.

What was your particular problem with Elite?

@@crooked-halo I always shop with elite there’s no problem I just seen that this stand has better prices on some cakes then elite does honestly better bang for your buck

@@frankieproductions Spent a few hundred bucks at Pooters yesterday! Now I'll do the same today at Elite! Pooters is now my _favorite_ fireworks store!

@Wanderingpyro after spending all the gas to drive up there or 300 dollars for a pallet to be sent down it just isn't worth it for your average consumer. Went to PA and NH some places had higher prices then pooters some had less but at the end of the day. This place is one of the cheapest spots in Houston to pick up fireworks for kids and people who want a good deal on the 4th.

Also, don't forget that stores are only allowed to open 22 days a year in Texas. A few counties have some extra days, but that's about it.

@fazzfoodjoint5380 when I did my cross country tour on average the Houston price was more. Now Pooters can stand it's ground alone with its prices. Hit the road jack was 43 dollars and you get a additional 10% off by mentioning the video so your paying little less then 39 dollars

San Antonio is really high from what I hear. Hopefully, that will change soon.

@@JG-PyroTX ya I doubt that lol Every season I usually just take the drive up I10 and go to Elite as much as I try to shop with local businesses here in the city the prices are ridiculous

One is _much_ faster & louder than the other, I just found out. I have two brands right now, Zips, which are the more common brand, and I also have Darts, which are by Dominator & I picked up in PA though I have seen them here in DFW. The Darts are _way_ faster & louder than Zips. I was shocked! They both look exactly the same but must have differing compositions of powder. Zips are almost boring now!

@shawnkiesel5349 your absolutely right if I bought one just to light as a finale I'd be disappointed. I normally add them with a 24 kit of cannisters in a spread rack and the low to high effect makes a GREAT FINALE!

There's some good stands out that way with good products as well
