Nice set up! I just installed a ds18 12" loaded box with a skar 1200.1 & it sounds damn good! With plenty of room to put stuff in the back

New friend to the channel, I know everyone say the down4sound box sounds good but when you need to use your trunk. I like the smaller one it fits perfect. I would put that other box in a car or truck that can give you the room for it.

I have a 23 charger scat with a fox box double baffle tens . Tht box is heavy with no subs it stay put but i had to bolt it down for when i get on it lol and i just notice you from nola . Westbank woot woot lmao

from passenger side kick to under hood wire goes from 1/0 to 8 guage, have to upgrade wire to stop lights dimming etc alot of people think its 1/0 all the way but its not

Sounds the same to me it's got the right cubic feet for the subs I'm not trying to win a sound competition just want it to look clean the video does say best fitting Subwoofer box not best sounding but it sounds great too so it's a win win thanks for watching hope it helped u out

In my other video the 2 12s flexing the ds18 is in there at 1ohm on this video I put the T1500.1 Rockford amp 1900rms at 1ohm for right now

@@SKentertainment504 doesn't it run hot at 1ohm? 1ohm tends to use a lot of voltage, stock alternators can't support it..I wouldn't go below 2o.unless you have aftermarket alternator

The down4sound box looked much better the new box looks like cheap prefab terrible decision to change

But say it's get one built off the same design, so it slides deep up in there, bring it forward a little more to enter that 4.5 - 6 cubes ranges for some serious 12s. Port on side, or subs up and port on side.....gonna be hard for anyone to go up against that

why did you go from 0 gauge to 4 gauge

I had amp that took 0gauge, went a different route dropped a amp in that took 4 gauge so i took the easy route and just changed the wire i doesn't hurt nothing

1/0 Gauge is not necessary for that small of a run to the amp, especially for 1500 rms. The wire from the alternator to that battery on the other hand needs to be 1/0 but then again, wire requirements are dependent length of run and amperage required.

The box is to small but in order for you to have access to the battery without moving anything this box provides the best fit.
