Best for Pigmentation: Be Minimalist Tranexamic Acid Vs Alpha Arbutin: Best Skin Lightening Product
#minimalisttranexamicacid #minimalistskincare #tranexamicacid #serumforpigmentation
#minimalistserumreview
WHAT IS TRANEXAMIC ACID?Ah, ANOTHER acid. Like we don’t already have enough of these. But this one’s a little different. Tranexamic acid or TXA for short is a synthetically derived active from lysine, which is an amino acid. TXA can be used topically, intradermally and/or orally, and oral TXA prescriptions have been used for years to stop excessive blood clots, bleeding and menorrhagia, which is when one has heavy menstrual flows. In the past decade or so, dermatologists, specifically in the south Asian region, have been using TXA intradermally to treat melasma. WHAT IS ALPHA ARBUTIN?Alpha arbutin is a natural derivative of hydroquinone, and is popularly used for brightening, skin lightening and fading dark spots. It can be found in antioxidant rich berries such as bearberry, blueberry & cranberry. HOW TO USETranexamic AcidA lot of actives in skincare work much better in conjunction with another active or acid, such as the all-star pairing of niacinamide with retinol. TXA, given how gentle it is, is definitely not enough by itself, says Dr. Kristina Goldenberg of Goldenberg Dermatology. She recommends combining it with retinol, a chemical peel, Vitamin C or kojic acid for full-power brightening. Alpha ArbutinAlpha arbutin works well on its own and gets even more powerful in conjunction with other brightening actives such as Vitamin C. A lot of skin brightening creams already have a safe percentage of the active present in them. However, sensitive skin types might develop some irritation at first, so it's best to patch test irrespective. Like with literally any other skincare product, especially so if its an active, patch-testing and patience are of utmost importance. Trying out a small patch on the inner wrist for 24 hours can give those with ultra-sensitive skin a better idea of what works for them.More on Lysine: www.byrdie.com...

I hv lentigines on my face and so used Alpha Arbutin 4 from minimalist in May-Jun 21 (work from home was on) and got anazing results. The day wen i started stepping out of home the same serum is working adversely even aftr using sunscros soft sunscreen which is 1 of the top recommendations of Indian Dermas. Twice I took a gap to restart it bt both of the times I became more dark & tanned. Don't knw why am I getting adverse effect from d sunscreen which was a magical serum for me for 45 days of use.

Alpha arbutin is a whitening agent. It controls melanin production. Maybe that's why.
@sulekhadutt
@sulekhadutt 2 жыл бұрын
@@user-jf6sb6tj1q it works by inhibiting tyrosinase activity that limits the melanin production in our skin. Less tyrosine and less melanin leads to lesser pigmentation, dark spots, and a more even complexion. But in my case I mgetting adverse results coz tanned skin means more melanin production.

With all these new things and products in the market it gets really confusing what to use and what can be avoided. My skin in really damaged, I have all kinds of issues like acne, acne scars, icepick scars, boxcar scars, acne Marks, dullness, sun damage, bumps on my forehead and chin, blackheads and whiteheads. I just don't understand anymore how many products I need. I buy one thing and then I learn about another thing. Vitamin c, retinol, niacinamide, aha bha peels/exfoliators, alpha arbutin, azalaeic acid, traneximic acid, hyaluronic acid, different kinds of sunscreens and cleansers, essential oils, and what not. It's all so overwhelming. I am so confused what to do, it seems like with my skin issues I need all of them which seems a bit too much to be honest. Idk what to do now. I have a cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen and vitamin c in my routine, now it seems like I need to add retinoids, glycolic acid, niacinamide, azaleic acid and traneximic acid to my routine as well. It seems a bit weird to have like 10 serums and products, it seems like I will be applying products to my face all day.

I am guessing. you are using these under a dermats care. if yes then please get them to help. you decide which is better since your skin is already under treatment. AA is better than tranexamic formulation

Mam' I'm currently using vit c & niacinamide from plum, And lactic acid & salicylic acid (once in a week )from minimalist along with Panthenol moisturizer and salicylic acid face wash from minimalist, sometime using azelaic acid ointment as a spot treatment to acne marks but it's gives me a burning sensation which i don't like. and using prescription tretenoin 0.025 usp , though I'm getting purge (cystic acne) and pigmentation so i wanna use something for acne marks. What should i use ? Alpha arbutin or tranexamic for PIE? When should i incorporate it , bcz I'm using my tretenoin for 1½ month now(twice a week after 1month ). Should i incorporate now any another acid or should i wait for few months for introducing any anti pigmentation serum?

Mam just wanted to ask that it has 3% mandelic acid which is pretty much high +0.25 % salicylic acid so to sum up it'll provide good exfoliation. I doubt that will it be ok to use it daily for 18 years old teenagers and if we are using it one time in a week will it provide all its benefits?? And how you'll suggest to use it without over sensitising and over exfoliating our skin and without losing any benefits of it as well
@RubinaSkincare
@RubinaSkincare 3 жыл бұрын
you are right. now if you need for acne or pigmentation thi sshould not be your first choice for a 18yo. start with vitc and AA- both of those are great for young active teenagers as they prevent oxidative stress which happens due to sun exposure while also lightening

Heyy dear Lacto calamine sunscreen contains Benzophenone and octinoxate tho so its doing more harm then good 😫
@RubinaSkincare
@RubinaSkincare 3 жыл бұрын
they are safe. Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) expert scientific panel states that benzophenone and its derivatives (benzophenone-1, -3, -4, -5, -9 and -11) are safe as typically used in cosmetics and personal care products. Please read: Benzophenone - ChemicalSafetyFacts.org I know its easy to get confused given the amount of misleading information around ...for filters its best to check lab muffin science for correct information. dont listed to EWG- its really not credible.

@@pammisaha9804 it drastically reduced acne but not scars. I'm convinced that it hasn't improved my scars. Moreover, azelaic acid is the most safe ingredient so I use it in morning along with sunscreen. And in night I use it with tretinoin and clindamycin. Azelaic acid goes along with anything and everything. All actives there are no exceptions although people recommend not to use aha and bhas with it as it can be too much on skin
