that program works for me, but it doesn't have all the editing options, I have a few options, when I open the images, a set of options, white balance, ccontrast, a set of options are displayed, when I load an image, the options are reduced to only 3 or 4, which the histogram tones curves

Hi, I recently downloaded sony image edge desktop version 3.4.00.05.200 , but It did not have full option like you have as Brightness, white balance , Creative ,contrast , D range optimizer , color, right below histogram . What version is it ? Di you pay for this , I down loaded free just have a few option , Thank you

Nice video, and good to understand even when my englisch (the s word) i switched from canon 90d to sony a6400. With canon you could edit an entire folder of raw photos then (after you deleted the bad ones) rename all photos so that the numbering follows each other again. Is this also possible with the Sony program (Imaging Edge)? Do you already have a video about that, and how do I find it? i used a translation program because my english is not so good when i have to write it

It's Interesting with the D-Range Optimizer and Display output.. I guess that D- Range Opt adjusts many sliders automaticly for you. The DRO Is also In camera for Jpg images I don't think It will effect the Raw filers? I have min DRO- Optimizer turned off In camera.

It won't affect the raw but it will bring in the settings in the software.

Unfortunately, you can not change Shutter and Aperture in post production.

@@Light_Camera_Story why shoot in RAW then? More information captured in big files. Does it mean that blown off hightlights will come back in post for a raw file? If not, why shoot in RAW?

hello i hav installed this in my laptop and opened arw files shot with my sony a6400 but i see lot of noice in those files than jpeg files..I couldnt see any improvement of my lics rather theyook more worse in this software..what is wrong please sugest

I've just installed Imaging Edge Desktop and I'm quite confused: first, it's all in Polish and I can't change the language to English. Yes, I've downloaded it from Sony's website (reinstalled it, tried to find a different installer - nothing works). Second, that software doesn't look at all like this one... Plus, in the video I can see "VIEWER" in the top left corner of the windown (not Imaging Edge). Is this really the same software? If yes, in so many links in your description... wouldn't be useful to add the download link to the software you're reviewing? Just saying... :)

I have a fairly good 3 years old gaming pc with 16 gb ram. It was working fluidly. Also, important to note, that, I was editing and screen recording at the same time here, I saw no issues.

Si no se puede guardar en lote despues de editar varias imagenes es absurdo, no se puede guardar a mano 200 imagenes cada dia . de otra manera si alguien sabe como guardar lo ya editado por lotes seria muy de agradecer. un saludo

I think is a little too silly to call this a " best software" to process Sony raw files, it's a good option for those don't want to pay anything, the Best? you must be kidding.

No I am not kidding. It's the Best software "For Image Quality" for Sony cameras. Just Like Nikon NX Studio is the Best for Nikon Cameras. Canon DPP is for Canon. Are they efficient, fast? Debatable. But for the best image quality, absolutely. Just because YOU prefer something else, doesn't mean you are right. No, I am not kidding.

So, coming here and spreading your opinion on something you don't have is just unnecessary. You could focus on creating great arts and Spread that instead. We need more arts, and less tools (opinions on tools).

I wholeheartedly agree that it truly is the best raw processing software for SONY cameras. LR & Capture One processes files based on its own interpretation of colors. If you like how a image looks on the back of any camera, its best to use its own raw software to begin your processing.
