love this episode! three things you guys said really are totally relatable! 1.Christine's "sis code":avoid guys who had a history with your girl friend at all cost, no matter in what shape or form or if it was past, present or future tense 2. Phil: some relationships end and it's for the best, it's just that you wouldn't realize until later. precisely my experience and it was a toxic relationship. 3. Wes: when you and your brother like the same girl, leave it to the girl to decide who she wants to pick. often times guys see it as a fight to win a girl's heart over, focusing so much on competing with other guys, but totally forgetting about the fact that girls are not subjects. we have feelings and preferences too.

I'm so glad I survived the turkey drop for 3 Thanksgivings. Been dating my high school sweetheart long distance for almost 4 years!

If my sister and I liked the same person, I wouldn't want either of us to end up with him because my relationship with my sister is more important and him being with any of us would create this negative vibe between us that will never go away even if the one who doesn't end up with him grows out of her feelings, it'll be awkward. I can't be with someone I know my sister once had feelings for, it's so uncomfortable.

As someone that eats from that Tea Station often I recommend the fried fish, beef noodle soup, gyudon, and minced pork belly.

I love these!! They are my favorite :) Actually, I've been in this situation. It's not fun and it's really hard to go through. To anyone who is going through this or might go through, here's my advice. One, honestly is key. Whether it's your friend or the person you're talking to, always be honest. Ask how they're feeling, what they're feeling. You need to communicate and see where everyone is at. Two, ask yourself who are you will to lose. Are you willing to let your friend go? What if it's your best friend? Are you ready to put that on the line? Are you willing to let this person you're talking to go? How close have to two of you gotten? They seem like the one, are you ready to lose that? Figure out which person you want to keep in your life. In the situation I was in, the guy wasn't worth losing my best friend over. And thirdly, know that you are important in all of this too. Make sure you're ok and doing fine. Try to find aperson in your life to talk to. Make sure you're doing ok.

everytime i watch lunch break is when i'm eating alone so it feels like i'm eating with my friends and having conversation with them....

It actually happened with my current relationship that two of my closest friends both liked me. One confessed without the other knowing, and I turned him down as I didn't have the same feelings for him. So later on, when I couldn't deny my feelings for the other and we wound up together, things got super complicated to say the least... Luckily we're all still good friends afterwards.

I actually had this happen to me when I was in high school. My two best friends at the time liked the same guy I liked, and since we were young we didn't make any rules or anything like that. In the end he ended up "picking" me, but I actually spoke with him first, and brought him to hang out with us, and hung out with him while they would just talk to me about him. Our friendship ended very poorly, I don't talk to either of them anymore because they got really jealous of our relationship, but I'm not dating him anymore either, haha! That was over a decade ago, but it was really sad, and devastating to me at the time because they both abandoned me in a time of need, however, it was definitely a learning experience, and the best friend I have now, we made rules and guidelines for when we are interested in the same guy, which is usually just don't talk to them. However, there are some exceptions. Like if the guy is genuinely, honestly super into my best friend, I would support them and maintain the friend thing with the guy, because me and her have the understanding that we just want the other to be happy. That and it wouldn't be fair to hold her back from something that is genuinely good for her. Anyway, this is long and I'm sure I could explain more but I think you understand! Plus this was kind of an older video anyway, haha! Love these lunch break videos by the way. I have been watching for a long time, but these are super fun to listen to while I'm at work. Thanks for all your hard work!

Preach Christine! It's def GIRL CODE to not date your best friend's ex or vice versa. There are some rare exceptions where this can be ok, but only if everyone has talked it over and everyone is ok with it. I've seen friendships end because of this and it's so sad to see someone choose a guy over their best friend.
