Hello Liam, I have OP1WE. May i ask is it normal if I can feel touch between button shell and switches when I slightly pressed down and up (not really pressed down, just slightly and not until clicked)? Is this zero pretravel looks like?

Nice entertaining review on a boring release ;-) I don't have strong feelings about my GPX, it just kind of exists, so I won't be upgrading to the GPX2. That said, it was nice to see some shape comparisons just because the original GPX is so old now we don't often see it compared to new mice.

I think the price is a tall order but they are confident with 2k over 4k polling and their hybrid switches do get lighter over time so this now give everyone a choice on the 1st or the 2nd gen which I think is good

Not only the skates, side buttons and for some scroll wheel too. not a bad mouse but the hype and tech on this killed it for me. I'll try to get the gpx1 to see if like the shape and if i do. i'll get the GPX2 5th or 6th batch to get rid off all the possible early issues.

Great detailed review! I do trust Logitech's sensor since they engineered it to function consistently and the new switches are much better than having to think about that double-clicking issue but for the price, I think it's a bit of a tall order but that's just me. Logitech did mention that they'll be having big announcements in the following weeks, so I do hope they release a different/updated mouse (G703 copium).

@@joelconolly5574 I also agree. I think they're not updating the G304/305 because they want to monetize the GPX/GPX 2. I still think that updating the G304/305 with updated specs without compromising the GPX/GPX 2, they're gonna bring home a good amount of profit.

What about comparison with Lamzu Atlantis Mini 4k? You still prefer Atlantis? It is much lighter weight and offers a lower price than Logitech.

Every reviewer ranting about the side buttons, but i think they spongy intentionally. If u think about it, u dont want to press the side buttons with the same power as the main ones, because when u maneuver in the game AND have to press sideways the buttons, if the buttons are too firm and clicky u will move the mouse to the right unintentionally, or at least u have to prepare for that force effect with your grip. Logi made the buttons softer, more controller-like (like X,B,Y buttons on a controller) with the purpose that when u press them WHILE moving ingame, it will not hinder your movement. That was my problem with my XM1 mouse, it sidebuttons were too clicky and in LoL i just moved my cursor a little sideways when i pushed them.

The original GPX still is a great option and should be good enough. I dont see enough of a justified reason to upgrade unless you really want that 2k polling

The bottom skate design makes sense. Making the top edges of the bottom skates straight creates better surface contact.

I hope this launch wakes up enthusiasts and logitech fanboys, there is 0 reason to buy Logitech, it's a waste of money. If you want big brand top tier tech, Razer. Thats it. If not, just find a clone of Logitech, itll be 10 times better than there own gear. This is trash 🗑️ but all gear from Logitech is trash, people just followed the scam tactics for no logical reason.
