If you read the first word on each of season 3 in order it says “thanks for watching” which is SO sweet and magical they didn’t need to do something like that but they did and that proves they care

One of the core themes of The Owl House has revolved around forging your own path, which is perfectly encapsulated by the Titan quoting Edna’s message about “Choosing Yourself”. And Luz ultimately defeated Belos because, unlike Phillip, she outgrew her desperate need to be the hero of her story and instead forged meaningful connections, which ironically gave her the strength to be a true hero. Luz and the denizens of The Boiling Isles will always have a special place in my heart (and adjacent bile sac) and perhaps in the future we might see them again in some form or another, but until then, BYEEEE!!!!

A couple of blink and you'll miss it moments to point out 1. The writing scholarship letter Luz has was signed by none other than Dana Terrace herself. 2. If you pause and look real close, you'll see houses and pathways built around the Titan's raised arm. 3. Hunter no longer has dark spots under his eyes, which means he's SLEPT! He's finally been able to sleep after so long 4. You'll see two basilisks outside of Eda's headmaster door 5. Everyone has tattoos of Flapjack on them Finally...it's a common theory among fans that when a couple exchanges each other's jewelry, that means they're married. You can see this for the fact that Luz is wearing Amity's necklace and that Eda and Raine swapped their earrings

Even though I’ve seen Luz’s death a dozen times and know it all works out, it still reduces me to tears without fail.

I like how Belos isn't given a big dramatic death. In the end, he's just a melting pile of ooze being stomped into the mud. He pretended to be the hero but instead he gets what he deserves and nothing more.

Dana made a personal cameo in the finale. She can be seen as a new student attending Hexside. She apart of the mixed magic track: abomination and barb. Unfortunately it got cut out in edit. Side Note: Bump retired and Miss Jenkinmeyer the Illusionist teacher is now the principal.

A detail I like that I haven’t seen already mentioned: Even with free access to the Boiling Isles it appears that Vee stayed completely in the human world and went to a human high school.

If you didn't notice, the titles for season 3 were: Thanks to Them For the Future Watching and Dreaming "Thanks For Watching" I always love when shows hide messages in the episode titles.

For me the greatest part of King's dad saying "I loaf you" is that not only do they say I love you but also let's King know they've been watching them.

My favorite part of this episode is despite the fact that the Titan could have appeared before Luz in a myriad of forms, they chose to appear with a dad bod, comfy glyph pants, and a Bad Girl Coven tshirt

And the character having their coven brand removed is the one we saw having it put *on* back in "Covention."

Dad bad with a literal castle crown for his bad self. Papa Titan be telling Dad Jokes and wearing PJ pants and making Luz an honorary Titan child for being a good big sister. He's literally the freaking best short term character in a handful of minutes of screentime.

Someone on KZfaq made a theory video about Hooty and they were spot on. Hooty is a type of parasite worm that has a symbiotic relationship with the Titan.

I will say despite Disney cutting the show short and all, i think this is one of the best ending to a show Ive ever seen, everyone who deserved it was happy and well all were together and nothing had to be givin up or any hard decisions to make. Meanwhile other shows just have one of the best characters die.

Most people who watch both Gravity Falls and The Owl House wath GF first, you're gonna find it uh... WEIRD when a certain character speaks with King's voice (even tho Alex Hirsch already voices like half the characters in Gravity Falls)

Since you've finished up Owl House, you should check out Amphibia next. They both have a similar plot (at a glance) and they were even sister shows that were airing at the same time as each other!

Fun facts for some you don't know King's dad is voice by Aaron Hanson of Game Grumps. And it was really fun to see Alicia's Journey with the show, and it was always cute for whenever she says my babies about some of the characters in the show

I can honestly say this show is my current favorite of this decade. Watched the Aired Pilot on KZfaq back when it posted in January of 2020, and I followed it since. I was into it, but did my best to enjoy it responsibly (especially since being a Respectful Weirdo seemed like something The Bad Girl Coven would uphold 😁). Looking back, I am amazed at how The Owl House Crew weathered every storm that it faced since it released. The world changed so much, and shows like this and Amphibia felt like great examples of shining in the face of adversity. I could go on about my favorite moments from each episode, but I didn't want to come into these reactions being Loud 😅 In the words of Eda: Byyeee~ 😉💃🏻🧙🏻‍♀️

Alicia has completed The Owl House, the show that managed to entertain everyone with clever writing, bring us to tears with strong emotional beats, introduce characters that have struck a cord with the world like very few shows have, showed that people who don't fall under typical sexualities & gender are no less human than we are, & encouraged us that sometimes being weird is what makes you special & different from each other & to embrace our inner weirdo. This show impacted me in a way that very few pieces of media have ever done & for me, is right up there & tied with Sonic the Hedgehog as my favourite thing that wonders of people's imaginations have given the world. The Owl House Fans, Animation Fans, Alicia's Fans, Myself, & hopefully Alicia are eagerly awaiting to see what comes from the wonderful mind of Dana Terrace & wish her the best of luck that she'll manage to create something as she originally envisioned without any interference & potentially finish her original vision of her masterpiece. & I wish Alicia the very best in her journey to have a family, manage to kick cancer in the ass, & continue to grow her channels into something even more amazing than it already is. But until the next one, We'll keep on Watching and Dreaming. As after all, "Us weirdos gotta stick together"

To be fair the show did come out before the haircut became generic, also Eda is wearing Raine’s earring and they are wearing one of her’s so that means they are married, I will be taking no further questions

This final season despite being only three episodes I cried so much more watching these then I did any other season I love the Belos death scene of him trying to plea for his life and play the Humanity card despite him and Luz not being Human in the scene and her silently watching him die as he tries to manipulate her with his hypocrisy show how despite his appearance he hasn't really changed as a person as opposed to Luz who has changed and grown since episode 1 I was hoping Hunter would be present to see Belos die but then again he'd probably be an emotional wreck due to all the things Belos has done to him and he's been through enough already. Also I love the Flapjack tattoo

I couple of months ago, I remember thinking "I wonder if Alicia has seen The Owl House? I think it would be right up her alley, what with all the babies and whatnot". Now I'm here, at the end of the journey, and it was everything I hoped for. I loved this show and I loved watching your reactions to it, Alicia. Never change and stay slaying.

This is honestly such a good celebration of the show. This feels like a worthy finale for sure. Also, I definitely wouldn’t’ve minded if Titan Luz was a permanent transformation. It’s a GOOD look on her!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. If you watch Gravity Falls I do recommend THE OWL HOUSE's sister show Amphibia. Then afterwards I would appreciate to know out of the Disney channel trio (Gravity Falls, The Owl House and Amphibia) which one will be your favourite?

"are you sure you wanna give this power...to me?" "well, you are the one here. and you seem like a good witch.but i can't give you anything unless you choose to accept it. so...will you choose yourself?" and that right there is what makes this story an Oxymoron of a Chosen One tale. Chosen One stories never really give the one in question any choice in their path, it's always an illusion of choice. "you are the only one capable" "we need your help" "we're entrusting you to this" Chosen one stories ironically are all about forcing a person to be the solution. the show early on makes it clear that "everyone wants to believe they're chosen, but if we all waited for a prophecy to make us special, we'd die waiting. and that's why you need to choose yourself." and even here this is still true. Luz could of just gone back to sinking and died. she could of refused the Titan. she could of never said anything. she could of even decided to find a different way. or she could of chosen an opportunity right in front of her. but at the end of it all, SHE had to choose. the titan just added the choice onto the table. Luz started off thinking that she was the chosen one, destined to be great and be the hero, but now that option is in front of her and she's hesitant. if it hasn't already, it should be mentioned that this series was too good for Disney. i feel like that should be known.

This whole journey has been amazing. The adventures of Luz, Eda, King and the others will always hold a special place in my heart (right next to my bile sac). Thank you so much for experiencing it with us. Now that the Owl House is over, i recommend that you watch Amphibia at some point. It’s one of my favorite shows of all time and i think you would love it just as much as the Owl House

The Collector is like if a Kirby character had no friends, no family, & no guidance.

There are lots of great moments in this finale, but some of my favorites: 1. King and Eda going absolutely feral with grief and rage when Luz 'dies.' We knew how much they cared about her, but that proved beyond a doubt how much they love her. 2. Luz just standing and watching in cold silence as Belos dies. No final words to him, no acknowledgement; just silently staring at this monster who finally got the death he deserved. 3. Seeing how happy everyone is after the time skip. Yes, there's still a lot of work to do, but everyone that deserved it got a good ending and closure. I wish we had gotten more, but I'm happy that we were able to get what we got, especially with a happy ending.

That ending BYYYYYYEEEEEE scene; every, single, person, who worked on the show - from script writers to animators, you name it. Every single person who worked on The Owl House got in on that final shot.

This ending was everything I wanted and more. It’s one of those endings that leaves you satisfied but craving more, I’d watch 3 more seasons of slice of life stuff set after season 3 💚💚

Is it weird that I cried a little and hugged my computer after Alicia said "I love you guys" at the end? Man... what a journey this has been. I'm glad we could all share this legendary show together.

It's always amazing to see someone appreciate something you love as much as you do. As this was the finale I would have liked a longer final thoughts section at the end. Perhaps it was just lost in the KZfaq cut though.

Absolutely incredible show. Not to imply im okay with it but, its truly a testament to the skill and dedication of the whole team behind it that, even with the show cut short by an entire season, they were still able to bring it to a spectacular and satisfying conclusion. Hell, if anything that only makes me wish that they had gotten that full final season even more, cause dear god imagine how good that wouldve been. Regardless, Owl House is special to so many people and im thrilled you loved it as much as we did. Amphibia is a pretty obvious recommendation after this, its considered a sister show to Owl House as the two aired concurrently, were both created by people who worked on their predecessor show Gravity Falls, and all 3 shows are loosely implied to exist in the same universe. Though, if you havent seen Gravity Falls yet id say do that one first, as it very heavily influenced both Owl House and Amphibia.

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES!! Ladies and Gentlemen we got to the finale, though I am kind of upset that we won't to get to see more Owl House reactions. This show no joke is one of if not the best Disney show (come at me all you want)- just everything about this episode had me so emotional from sad, to happy, to sad again, to OH MY GOD, to happy crying. Dude the "You turn on the light" comment during the dream part I don't know why that got me (and yes they came in crazy during the finale), poor collector he was traumatized so much for YEARS- glad they all were nice to him and taught him things (Also when King gave him Francois I almost started bawling), Belos fully taking over the isle was CRAZY I was so stressed but my god was it so cool (also Collector I love you buddy but don't hug Belos my guy), dude Luz dying had me for a good minute I was like 50/50 thinking she's fine but also knowing Dana doesn't really like good endings I was like "Nah... don't do this", and King and Eda's transformations were insane they looked so cool (also Camila crying in puppet form like nah), another quote that got me was "I should've thanked them" like wow that hit me like a truck. Also when we saw King's dad like come on even though we only saw him for a moment just iconic (and the "I loaf you" comment SO CUTE), Luz's Titan transformation was STUNNING absolutely amazing I just wish that Amity got to see it because we all know she would be a blushing mess (again can we talk about how they all worked together and Eda was still teaching her like come on I adore them so much), also that little Raine and Eda moment was too cute, another quote that I loved... "EAT THIS SUCKER" that was iconic let's go Luz (and the way she just watched him melt in the rain she didn't even move really that was so cool), bro the ending montage had me tearing up so bad where everyone found their family/friends like come on that was too sweet (and we love our Lumity moments) also Lulu and Hootsy oh my gosh they were so precious!! And don't get me started on the ending with them all grown up Luz looks amazing love her new look same with Camila (we love how she still has the Gay heart so cute) and we got to see Vee again, HuntLow is official and Willow and Hunter look amazing (also that tombstone with Flapjack and the quote nah I cried and the fact that they all have Flapjack tattoos), Lulu getting her harpy form and Hooty is still with her is so cute also her hair is gorgeous, Amity looks AMAZING with the hair and just everything the whole look (same with the twins), Raine looks fabulous and the fact that they all are trying to make it so no one has to be part of a coven is awesome, also I smell a new ship Alador and Darius not going to lie they are very cute together, Gus I agree they should've given him a different look but he still looks great, Eda being the Headmaster makes so much sense she is such a great teacher and I love her hook, and King got a growth spurt he's becoming our little DeMan!! But also the fact that they had them all say "Byeeeee" at the end that made me happy cry like I am so upset we didn't get more but so happy with the ending (and at 52:52 relatable)- anyways I can't wait for more content from you and I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy Alicia! P.S. If you didn't know if you looked at the first word of the last three episodes they say "Thanks For Watching" I just found that so cute!

I remember watching it on the disney channel, and they played this thank you video before starting the episode, and I couldn't help but cry. The entire show I hold back the tears. "Gotta stay strong! It's...just a show." It jerked a tear or 2, but yeah... Then the thank you video plays, and I just could not help but cry. Like...dammit! And the episode hadn't even started yet!

This will forever be another one of the best story driven Disney TVA shows of all time (*biting my tongue* if only Disney was smart enough to realize that before the last minute…, but whatever) Who knows? Maybe Dana is willing to do some novels or comics for the show… Owl House is already considered part of a trinity with Gravity Falls and Amphibia in terms of alumni, storytelling, atmosphere and virtually same fandom across all three, and with Gravity Falls having the journals and comics and Amphibia about to have art work and potentially more content if given enough support, maybe Dana can do the same. (Also, Alicia, if you’re looking for a new show to react to now that you’re done with TOH, highly recommend Gravity Falls or Amphibia, the latter being considered Owl House’s sister as they were released around the same time, the former being the catalyst for both of them and generally cited as one of the pioneers in Western animation)

There's actually a deleted scene that showed what would've happened had Belos completely gained control over the Titan and he actually got back to the human realm.
