I had to buy custom orthotic insoles which cost 800 dollars. They are supposed to last for 5 years but even wearing socks I thought they would get very dirty by then. So I was very happy to see the hack of covering insoles with no show socks. I used the thin hosiery type as I didn't want to add bulk ,it has been working great.
