Don't use these Zigzag hairbands! These can cause traction alopecia which is a type of hairloss caused due to pulling.You might have experienced pain on your scalp while trying to take this hairband off your hair. While trying to do so you might have had to apply more pressure. This is not good for your hair. There is no scientific evidence or studies on this yet but i truely believe this is a fact. I too had experienced this.Therefore be careful of your frontal hairline and use flat hairbands.

@@suryaramakrishnan98it's not even touching the hairline area, how can it? The only cause of hair fall from it is due to tension but no one wears it tight anyways, just loosen all hair stands after applying and everything is fine. Just don't wear it everyday.

@@blendermod if a headband is too tight, too rough/grippy, if you wear a headband too often or if you put a headband on wet hair (your hair is more fragile wet) then yes, it can cause breakage and even traction alopecia (baldness). As long as it's not too tight and isn't a rough texture, you should be fine to wear a headband without much damage.

I have both, and I used to think the second one is better. But few days ago I realised that there is no grip in the flat one and also the zig zag band gives better shape and look and it is a classic, known for the boys'

So… i don’t believe this is true because one the zigzag headband not only bends it shape so it could fit your head size. It also is wider ( aka the zig zag) so you aren’t pull your hair… its just getting push back. The second one would pull on your hair because its tight. Its looks like a circle shape… so it would get caught even…
