first mod i did to my Dyna was remove stock seat and stock pegs. Before that I felt like i was sliding all over the place. I love these pegs.

Thanks brother for another great video. I used these same pegs as well on my ‘99 dyna and I love how I have more available riding positions now. The little spikes fit in the bottom of my boots and ensures my they won’t slip off. Safe riding my friend!

I put the same pegs on my dyna had them for along time never had any problems at all, I just had to set the pegs on tighten it up take it back off drill new holes for the ball bearings to fit in which didn’t take any time at all, thanks for the video

What I also did on my dyna was instal Flo gear shifter to remove that nasty rubber gear shifter . It also will keep you from getting any black spots in your nice white shoes

Awesome thanks! Yea I was really impressed with quality! I was thinking today also you could order some button head Allen bolts for the peg inserts and they would be a lot less aggressive but still function nice

Just order the same ones I was going to buy them from DEAD BEATS custom but saving 100 bucks is a way better deal.

Hi dad , nice pegs cool. but I'm worried, will the pegs rotate upside down because of rider's feet move back and forth, since there is only one allen bolt locking the pegs (adjustable bolt). Thanks

Got a set and don’t like them the studs stripped out and are at max height wanted to lower them I got the Allen head style ones,and the little ball bearing locators are not even so on side one peg is kicked back a bit and the other is kicked forward I’m thinking il loosen the Allen off and let the ball bearings fall out use lock tight and set them both flat at the same angle

Thanks! Haha I’m Not sure if locktited is a word! Go in any mechanic shop In the world and I Promise it’s normal speech lol. You could do it off the bike But then you would Still have to get something to hold the peg. I figured the bike was a great vise to hold It!🤷🏻‍♂️👍🏻👍🏻

If they’re like my pegs it takes a 5 mm but I have the flow pegs And lovers bars brake lever clutch lever clutch pedal brake pedal and pigs passenger pegs all done by flow cost me $1000 but well worth it

In that last scene, you're on your back brake pedal, it doesn't look like there's much play in that. How did you adjust that from OEM? My stock pedal goes down past the foot peg before it actually starts braking, I just got the 5k service done too, and Harley said it was fine.

The travel on the rear lever shouldn’t be much more than one inch! There’s a few things that could cause that problem. 1. Air in the brake lines needs to be bleed. 2. There’s to much play somewhere in the lever system which can be adjusted via the lock nut and plunger at the rear master cylinder. 3. Master cylinder or rear caliper not holding pressure or leaking. Very very rare it’s the caliper. %99 of the time the rear master cylinder needs a rebuild kit. Hope this helps!

I’m thinking they might scrape the pavement in the curves, the way I ride. Have you had that problem. I’m also concerned about vibration. Do you notice there’s much vibration?

They actually have more ground clearance than stock pegs. I’ve tried to scrap them and the pipe or kickstand hit first but that’s way over. Probably less vibration since the contact patch is less with the spikes

@@ProjectDadLife I was thinking about putting in upgraded tensioner instead of the gear drive. I had a gear drive on a 2001 FXDXT, and it made a noise I didn’t like. I think I’ll just get stronger chain tensioners. Let me know it works out. My FXDXT was the best touring bike (Harley) I ever owned. 👍🏻👍🏻

Quick question, if u take off the pegs and replace with these, can u use the stock ones for passenger pegs? Or are the passenger pegs different

No there just bolted on. Set tension with bolt torque.

You know the Dyna has a rubber mounted drivetrain.

might want to check you rubber on the motor mounts. Mines extremely smooth but I replaced my mounts after a bought it. Technically if you have a bad vibration in the handlebars or foot pegs etc might have something else going on. Tire balance issue miss aligned rear belt or primary chain might be to tight.
