Ma'am, I was diagnosed with IBD Crohn's disease in 2022 (age 22 years), and have not taken any health policy, but now I am not able to buy a health policy, whenever I tell them that I have this disease. But one can fall ill, or due to an accident also get hospitalized, in this case, what shall one do, should I not disclose my pre-existing disease, or without disclosing serve the moratorium period, then raise claims after 8 years if anything happens, till then get treated on my own cost, etc. Please, help/guide or make a video for this type of case, (where, what one should do when the company is not giving insurance to any pre-existing disease, how they should buy the insurance). Kindly suggest. Is it wise to renew a 6 year old NivaBupa Reassure plan or go ahead and buy a NivaBupa Reassure 2.0 plan entirely as a new customer keeping the 2.0’s benefits in mind. NivaBupa doesn’t allow porting of Plan from Reassure to Reassure 2.0 during renewal for old customers. Only option is to buy the 2.0 plan afresh and wait till all the waiting periods are over ! For reference, my age is 34 Years.
